    Hi!

Mr. Tan has given quite some answers and I understand the SoftMiner product now a little bit better. It is built by a company called medium, you can read up more here:
    https://medium.com/gamma-now/gamma-razer-partnership-b20a292b6158
    https://www.gammanow.com/faq
(and i agree that its just one venue to earn silver - but that was never my question; my question was what is the computing power being used for and you can get a feel for that when reading aforementioned articles; spoiler: i imagine gamma is a company that wants to act as a "reseller" for computing power - tough at the moment it seems to use the gpu power to mine some coins - so latere there probably will be an api for customers to use it if you want to "run stuff" on it)

Thnx Mr. Tan for clarifying this!

How about raising the points from 100 per day via Cortex to say 500-1,000 per day? That seems more beneficial and just makes better sense than destroying PC hardware for you guys to get rich off of Bitcoin while we pay out of pocket for electricity and hardware use.

I don't remember anything like this before.

You must confound with the paid to play system.

I agree that 100 is too low (and thats with x2 weekend , now u get 50) something like 300 is just okay IMO , everything above is going to hurt Razer.

Way to make it sound good razer, here use your electricity and burn up your hardware mining for free... oh yeah you could get a few pennies in silver for your efforts, as long as we make coin. What's the new company slogan, "You work we profit more than ever" maybe?

It's a way for the kiddies to borrow electricity from their parents and swap for virtual coins instead. Pocket money by the back-door. The only way this pays is to plug into Starbucks and steal electricity from there instead

well, you got to get a laptop or rig with at least decent gpu then...that's a pretty high cost itself.
plus, i'm not sure what the constant running of the miner would do to the laptop/rig parts.

I've gotten over 2500 within the first couple of weeks, really loving this miner so far!

What's your setup? and also which region you're from? I've left my PC on the entire night to mine but got 0 silvers by the time i woke up.. that's at least 8 hours of mining.. :frown_:
