I had Nordic Blade 14 2015, and now german layout Blade 15. I don’t really know actually how it’ll be on Blade 15, but the function key won’t be light on like old Blade, it’s already so since 2016. On Blade 15 there’s also arrow keys place changing that I have to getting used to on typing. Here the comparison, hope with that you can imagine how it’ll be.

This is all fair and good, but who's the target audience? The only people I can imagine buying one of these are college students and there's no way they'd afford them without any high-interest financing options.

Good for you, if you want gaming on high refresh rate you can get 144 or more g sync monitor, now it’s supported with that new mini DP port. Mine is opposite, 144Hz model with 4K external monitor. If I didn’t have 4K monitor, I’d go with 4K Blade 15 and g sync monitor.

    Only college students??

I'm about to leave my mid 40s and I've ordered one of these. Something to game on at work during lunch and when travelling. Also something to code on and write games in my spare time.

I'm sure there are a million other reasons people buy them. Mac level build and design with a decent gaming GPU in a compact size - the only reasons to not buy one would be - to save money, personal preference or you want a desktop replacement*.

    *other reasons are available

I agree with this completely as well. I too, am well past my mid 40s (starting with a 5 now....and my beard is starting to show some grey....), but I just bought a Blade 15 two weeks ago. The big reasons for me in favour of it are the fact that the design is excellent, with good build quality, and the system doesn't look "gamery". It has some flash, but subtle, it has incredible performance, but can have decent battery life if set up for it. I travel for work extensively, often internationally, and it's nice to have something in my hotel room / Airbnb that I can do more than just watch movies on. Some times I like to play FPS games, sometimes it's strategy (Civ V), sometimes it's RTS (even older titles like Rise of Nations).

I got rid of my Surface Pro (2017, 1TB, 16GB Intel Core i7) unit in favour of my 2018 Blade 15. While the SP was a good tablet and overall good work PC, it really wasn't any good for any gaming. Easy to travel with and I still love the SP form factor, but the Blade provides me with a ton more options for entertainment while on the road.

Over 40 club here as well. My company bought the Blade for me to replace my aging MacBook Pro. Well, I used my company card to buy it. It helps to be buddies with your company’s IT guys. :)

I’ve been using Creative Cloud for years and about two years ago I got a high end desktop and was blown away with the performance of Premiere and After Effects in Windows.

After the 2018 MBPs again didn’t use Nvidia and have enough ports that I need, I decided to ditch Apple after almost 20 years — so far I’m digging it. /me knocks on wood. It’d appear I have a good Blade.

How long after receiving the Razer Blade 15 can you expect to get the email confirmation regarding the free VR game bundle?

Good point, usually it’s around 10 days after receiving the Blade but I’ve it almost a month, not getting it yet, maybe I should contact support for that.

I contacted Razer support via social media (Twitter), and they said I should receive my unique master key 10 business days after receiving the laptop. If I don't receive it by 8/10 I was asked to contact them again. So yeah, I'd definitely contact them if I were you.
