Actually the only problem here is not about Kickstarter or not. Is just about that there isn't so much andversting for this product. Razer should expand the announcement all over the world with gamers forum channel etc etc etc...this will reunite LH players and will give a news to the new young players that will start to play. So if they found a LH option they don't have to learn to play RH becouse Razer have provided a new utility. Btw like now, only how like Razer page and forum know about this project. I believe that LH players (or that could be (New or converted) are more than what we see. And i even believe that if a proper adverstimet will be done they will monopolize and really help all LH players in the underground. Sorry for my bad english. I really hope in this project, and i really hope even in a better way to show it to the world from Razer company

Usually at the end there is a strong leap, but I meant the idea of a mouse for lefties!

  5. AFAIK there are none similar to the Naga. Other than razer, the only left handed mice I've ever seen were a horrible logitech wireless one from a decade or so ago, and a few versions of weird mice from ergonomic companies that IIRC were all basic 3 button+wheel designs.

Razer has a left handed death adder (on its second generation, so the more mainstream design apparently does sell reasonably well, not a huge surprise there, as they're basically a normal mouse if you turn off the frag harder lights) but that's a conventional 5 button design.

The left handed thumb pads from the Naga don't exist anywhere else, and because the sculpting of an ergo mouse tends to be rather different for the thumb and pinky sides I doubt anyone will ever make a mouse that lets you swap panels/left to right for an ambidextrous thumbpad option.

southpaw here, using the Orochi for more than 5 years now. i don't even reconfigure the buttons, even though it's entirely possible. the left button is still a left-click, and right button is right click. this is for everyday use. strangely though, when i game, i switch the mouse to my right hand, as my left hand is more adept at the keyboard. AMBIDEXTROUS GAMERS FTW!!

Sounds good, great initiative. But only for 8% of population xD

There is nothing I want more in the world right now. Professional grade, precise, ergonomic left handed mouse for all my work. I guess I'll have to stick with ambidextrous (I mean, I won't get my hopes down too much just yet, but I have a bad feeling about this whole thing). :frown_:

From what I've read, the left handed population is closer to 13% according to studies (usually this is rounded down to 10%). That still leaves us with a target audience of ~1 billion people (estimating that the total population of the world is 7.5 billion)

Now, the problem that we're left with is harder to answer - How many of those 1 billion people use computers? Probably a lot considering how popular computers have gotten. The next question is "How many of those computer users are computer enthusiasts or have professional jobs in the computing industry?"

I'm not even going to try to answer that because I can't even calculate such a difficult number. Anyway I pledged and I really hope this Kickstarter gets a lot more popular (fast)!

The campaign failed horribly. Just in case anyone is viewing this thread in the future and wanted to know how it ended - There never was a Naga Trinity LH.
