I'm a software engineer and is always on the go and I often use these keys. Whenever I want to go at the end of the line or at the end of the whole code this is the most efficient key available on other . Now why is this missing for the Razer Blade Stealth?! I know that it's an ultrabook, but I'm sure there's always space for at least the Home and End Key. Am I just missing how to do this without reassigning the keys using synapse?
  2. I too, was really worried at first when i saw those keys missing as I've grown accustomed to relying on them to move though large data sets in excel quickly.

After some light testing, I found those keys are secondary functions of the 4 arrow keys.
Hold 'fn' key and then tap any of the 4 arrow keys.
1 pair is left and right.
1 pair is up and down.

I guess if wanted to do it by synapse, since there is no actual key, you would probably need to put in the corresponding combo as well.

So right now the only key I have left to really find is if there is a function key to do the equivalent of "right mouse click", before I have to default to synapse to remap possibly the right 'fn' key to said function.

Are those (home, end, page up, page down) binded to the arrow keys by default? Have you tested this on Razer Blade Stealth? I'm being hesitant about getting it since I can't find those keys, it's like my joy during software development and it's just hardship without those so why buy something that makes your life difficult right?! I'm just glad Min-Liang is watching this forum at least... Hahaha
Oh I forgot to mention that right click key on the keyboard! That's one neat key as well I hope it's there too!
  5. Jay Vee,

Yes. I owe a RBS. and yes I've tested those key combos in MS Excel and in web browsers; and it works (not as ideal as hitting a single button, but it's workable). If a nearby MS store has some, maybe you could try them out there before finalizing your decision....

That's a relief! Yeah I would really have to try it out before buying! Sadly I'm in the Philippines right now and it's not yet released here. :slightly_sad:
Gotta wait some more! Thanks for the information Lost Dreamer it's a really big help!

I bet we'll also see a Razer Blade Chroma or Even a Razer Blade Pro Chroma that's also compatible with the Razer Core sometime soon! Can't wait!!!!!! :D

Oh by the way, about the charger is it really not working with other brands in case you need a quick replacement? Or is it just because the guy who tested it in youtube used an under powered MacBook Charger?

I don't usually use page up to scroll all the way. I use the home key it is fast and easy.

I've gotten so used to home & del that I don't ever think I can switch to a 60% keyboard even though they look so damn slick:[IMG]

I don't think I ever use insert, page up/down though. Just up/down arrows for those last two.

When it comes to working I use them a lot, while in gaming not at all. They probably have been removed from the blade because of its gaming nature...

Honestly, for the options given I don't think I ever use any of them. I don't even remember the last time I clicked a home or an end key. lol

I can't remember the last time I owned a laptop with a discrete Home/Del/etc pad. Fn and the arrow keys are fine, you get used to it quickly.

I don't think I'll get used to living without it. I'm a software engineer and I code a LOT! Navigating my way through a thousand line of codes isn't gonna be easy without those keys.

You have them! They're just in a different place. I use them all the time.
