I have been trying to ethernet network with the thunderbolt port.
But It does not recognize it. I cannot see ethernet menu in Network and Internet Settings.
Is there a driver to fix this issue or should it be recognized?

I have set up dualboot environment of pre-installed Windows and Ubuntu 18.04.
But in both environment, it can not be recognized.

    Thanks in advance,

All thunderbold ports have security to stop people plugging them in (as it has direct motherboard access)

So on windows look for the white square and blue circle/lightening bolt in the running applications toolbar (where eject usb devices are) - Right click and Approve attached devices.

Ubuntu has something similar (I can't remember what the package is called, but thats what you need).

I *think* you can also set it to no security in the motherboard so it works for both, but can't confirm that.

If you have no thunderbold tool, install the intel thunderbolt driver first
