New configurations, a new color, and a new starting price—the world’s smallest 15.6’’ gaming laptop just got even better: http://rzr.to/blade

The Razer Blade 15 now features a dual storage option and expanded connectivity via a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port. Featuring the fan-favorite edge-to-edge display, powered by 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with Max-Q design.

That’s not all. For the first time, the Razer Blade 15 also comes in a brand-new look—an ethereally designed limited edition Mercury White. Anodized with an elegant and durable finish, this ethereally designed laptop is adorned with a tone-on-tone Razer triple-head snake and trades our signature green USB ports for black. It’s the perfect gaming laptop to complete your setup—especially if you pair them with our line of other Razer Mercury White peripherals.

Damn this laptop looks super clean. White setups are so good especially with that Chroma.

$1600 for a 1060 max-Q and that form factor isnt bad at all. Just bummed they decreased the battery slightly.

Why is the Mercury edition only available in US, Canada and China? :slightly_sad: :slightly_sad: :slightly_sad:

I'm more of a Team Gunmetal though. #TeamGunmetal

I'm really liking how the White Mercury Blade 15 has a tone-on-tone logo and black USB ports alongside Razer Chroma RGB lighting but I would prefer seeing a Gunmetal Grey with these features more since there isn't a lot of white Razer peripherals to match with the Mercury color option. There is no Mercury Naga, Orbweaver, and Nari yet but having the standard Black peripherals still blends well with the Gunmetal color.

Also, I think it would look a bit better if the bezels and only the bezels stayed black since it borders the screen. This is a minor aesthetic problem though and the Mercury Blade still looks fantastic!

That Mercury model looks really good. I wonder how 'Limited' it is going to be.

Is it a possibility that Razer will release the new base configuration with a 144Hz screen instead of 60Hz? Would be the perfect laptop IMO if they did. Feel slightly restricted by having to use HDMI cables to link up the laptop to a 144Hz external monitor to play FPS games but am loving the lower price tag due to less premium features such as the lack of single-key backlighting and so on :big_grin_:

Will the Mercury Edition be available in the MS store in Canada once it's out?

Nothing against the Razer Store, but I love MS option to get a 2 year warranty for cheap ;)

EDIT : NM, I just saw this "Available only direct from Razer, the Mercury White Limited Edition brings a new color to the advanced model of the Razer Blade 15. "

Well I think its a complete sell out from the core Razer ideal.
You can now buy a bland mac book or surface clone (nice) or you can buy a chunky ethernet port base model. Bring a new colour yes but what about Razor Green and touch black?
My original post said there is a mini ethernet port (I may have been wrong but I swear I was shown one, mind plays trick so apologies) but this could have been Razers big chance to design their own network port - yes a converter would be needed (include in box) but the hardware chip would be on board.
So his answer bring out a non thin chunky blade 15. tut tut.

If you mean the cheap one with a hinge that pulls down when you insert the cable: no thanks
