It never seems to fail that whenever i get into a gunfight in PUBG, I end up clicking on the FPS or the little ball. It always leads to me losing the gunfight. Is there any way to disable it? If not can there be a way to disable it?

These are features of Cortex's GameCaster. Both overlays have a shortcut you can use in-game to toggle them.
The FPS can be toggled using the ctrl+shift+f shortcut
The GameCaster Overlay (The "Ball") can be toggled with ctrl+` (the button above TAB, left of 1/!)

You can find settings about both of these features within Cortex under GAMECASTER>IN-GAME 2017-08-18-is6Ut85TWng1K2kJ[1].png
From there you can manually toggle the overlays on/off (it does the same thing as using the corresponding shortcuts)

You can also disable GameCaster entirely from that screen if you wish, though it's recommended to leave it on but turn off the overlay if you want any of the features (easy screenshots/recording/streaming/FPS overlay)

One more option is to disable the GameCaster overlay for that individual game. You can do this under the GAMES tab. Select the game (Click the picture, anywhere except the "Play" button) and toggle "Show Gamecaster overlay for this game"
