Hi everyone, I'm new to insider so... be kind to me plz. :)

As we know, Razer has created a program called 'Game Booster', it closes processes that are not necessary in order to improve your games performance. I've been using it and haven't seen much of a performance boost to my games. Does anyone else experience the same thing?

I haven't notice any increase in performance in my v1 RBS
mainly that windows is getting better at suppressing background task while gaming, the latest version of windows even have "Game Mode" which does the same as Razer game booster and again no much performance difference at lease not for me

It boosts mine all the way! Of course I have an older rig so maybe that's why. But I definitely see a marked improvement in performance when I use it as opposed to not using it. If I may make a suggestion, add a poll next time. I like to vote, and numbers don't lie.

I use it and I don't notice a huge increase, I'm not really expecting it. I more use it to help keep everything smooth while playing, less chance of something I'm not using trying to use resources and causing a hiccup. Also, it clears the RAM during that initial boost so figure it can't hurt.

Even if it's all in my head, or only makes it a frame or two faster, it's certainly not hurting my performance so I keep using it.

They will not hurt that's for sure, but if you have a decent gaming PC I don't think that they will help much either. I think that the ones to gain the most from these "boosters" are people with fair or weak PC's, where the booster may help to give them a fighting chance. I don't see any performance gains but it does help with quieting the background tasks and freeing ram, so I guess that's something.

    I have a Asus Zenbook UX430UQ with an i7 7500u and a Geforce 940MX, still don't see much of a performance bump.

Any "Game booster" software really only affects lower end PC's.

    End of story.

It only boosts your RAM (and if you're on laptop - it changes powerplan to High Performance). If your pc have 4 gigs of RAM, you can find some better performance, but you won't notice it on high end PC.
