I had a freeze yesterday too. First in months of ownership. Scary.

I've had this problem too. And sadly, the freezes is not related to Candy crush and/or Netflix. It's the OS.

Android has never been on par with iOS. I've used 9 generations of iPhones and the razer phone is my first Android device. No matter what kind of specs an Android phone have, it will never be as smooth as an iPhone. I bought the razer phone because it's specs is supremely overwhelming. (And because I'm a huge razer fan) I was not disappointed. At first, the 120hz screen and everythig else was amazing. But after a few weeks of using it the usual Android problems started to appear. Freezes, auto restarts, app crashes, etc.

The hardware is so powerful but the software is still shit. I'm still waiting to see if Oreo makes it at least a little bit better.

It's like giving a Ferrari to someone with no driving license. Superb hardware, but software not on par.

I really don't want to go back to my iphone x. The stuff you guys make is amazing.
But i really hope Razer will consider making their own OS. I know it's not easy, but it's worth it. Android will only bring your phone down. ROS ftw.

Friendly reminder that Insider is not a support platform. Support can be reached here: https://support.razerzone.com/ The Razer Phone is incredibly new, and as a first gen product probably has its share of kinks to be worked out, so I am sure some community experience sharing can be invaluable here. However, we do want Insider to be focused on community content, and we don't want users to substitute community advice for proper support, damage their devices, and then be upset that they didn't get the help they needed. I am of course speaking in broad strokes here, this thread seems to be full of safe and helpful posts, but if you continue to have issues, please do contact support directly. I will be leaving the thread open for the time being, but do try and keep the house rules in mind.
