Here is the kraken that people are referring to. It's a common prop reused in several of the late early and mid seasons of the show. I'm not sure if it's still there or not, I'll keep and eye out in the next episode. Sadly though I bet Dell pays for Sheldons laptop to be an Alienware. Most recent episode spoilers below.

It looks like they are still paying them as in the most recent episode when Sheldons laptop finally died, it was replaced with a new black alienware.

Razer is the biggest pc gamer brand, it's no surprise it's appearing in mainstream media!

  8. That's awesome and I never noticed that in either How I Met Your Mother or The Big Bang Theory

    They're Orcas...

Krakens don't have that bulge at the end of the headband, and are connected via the headband, unlike the Orcas.

Electras are totally different being an over-ear design and have a black ear cup.

That is @Lafar for you, doing the research that you don't need, but that you deserve :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I'm still sticking to those being Orcas.
Why else would they have a little bump between the cup and the headband?

One could try to make the argument that the bump is due to the part revealed when the headband is extended (that part where there are white stripes to denote how far the headband has been extended). But, there still is another separation after that bump.

Additionally, the Krakens' earcups have some sort of swivel vertically. It seems on the picture that they seem totally linear, just like the orcas.

Headband is also real thin, earcups thin, and it might just be me, but I see a hint of green behind the black metal mesh of the earcups.
