  1. After installing both and seeing how it works. the Synapse 3 takes over ownership of devices that are supported. So the Firefly is in S3ver, and all other devices are in S2ver. So now the firefly is out of sync with the other chrome enabled devices.

Hopefully they sort out the remaining devices which aren't that old and this wont be a huge concern. Synapse 3 I do like it way better than 2 for sure!

Exciting updates! I think that the worst part about waiting is when half of the devices live on Synapse 2 and half live on Synapse 3. I'm just waiting on the Mamba TE and the Original Blackwidow Chroma support personally.

I've seen companies provide way less legacy support than Razer, so I think that it shouldn't be taken for granted that these updates are coming, so I'd like to thank everyone involved at Razer for justifying my brand choice with this kind of ongoing support. It's things like this that give me faith in Razer as a company.

Ok, you wrote about support for more legacy mouses. But what about all audio peripherals? Currently none of them are supported by new synapse 3.

I was pointing to the part that I can't talk about specific devices. I was already cheating by saying the next update will be focused on mice. ;)

Heres some feedback, I'll say it here to get a faster response but I will also submit it in the feedback section on Synapse 3.

Just a little thing I find useful on Synapse 2 is that you can go into the hidden icons section on the Windows Taskbar, Right click on the little Synapse 2.0 logo and then you can hover over different products you have to either change profiles, or for the headsets you can toggle bass boost, noise reduction etc.. That is one of those small things I would like to see make its way to Synapse 3 sometime, in case you want to quickly turn off bass boost without having to open the app and such again (It may just sound like I'm super lazy, but I find the whole bass boost toggle nice with this method), don't know if it would be possible on Synapse 3.0 and how much work it would be though.

    Hi @Jenjar,

We do have an equivalent of that in Synapse 3 already. Clicking (normal click, not right) the taskbar icon will bring you to these options.

Razer Deathadder 3.5G (2012) is still sold as new in my country. I hope it gets support soon.

Thanks. I was going to ask about this. Honestly I'm not surprised, although slightly disappointed (though only for the sake of unnecessary convenience). Coming from the perspective of a programmer (in training :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), I understand how much of a nightmare that would be to make it backwards compatible while also trying to get device support finished asap.

    Carry on!

  19. Is that keyboard a Razer BlackWidow Chroma?

Just installed the latest update and my mouse was added!! still missing four devices

    Chroma
    Razer BlackWidow Chroma
    Razer ManO'War

    Non-Chroma
    Razer Seiren Pro
    Stargazer

Please keep up the good work! Really hoping my other two Chroma get added soon, well all four actually so ready to remove the 2.x software!
