If you had to pick one which would it be.

I have a stealth + core plus 1070 and only enough time in my life for one

    Or

    Is Fallout 4 better?

I mean that really depends on your personal preference as the Witcher and Skyrim don't play anything like each other. Personally its the Witcher 3 for me, but I also loved skyrim.

Get Skyrim if you want to play around with mods.
Get Witcher 3 for a great storyline.
Get Fallout 4 if you want an open world fps.

Witcher 3. Don't get me wrong, I love skyrim. But to get the game to look as good as the Witcher 3 you'll need mods.. But imo the Witcher 3 has the better story. Plus you can always mod the crap out of the Witcher 3 to improve the already awesome graphics.

Skyrim just received a an epic mod today. It's a complete new map, new quest, new story, new skilltree, new enemys etc. All dialogs are dubbed. Atm it's only available in german, but the English version will follow the next weeks. Enderal is a complete new game.

So I choose Skyrim. I mean two full games in once plus all the mods available. Definitely Skyrim.

Witcher 3 because all the witcher series are great and been rated high based on the game itself.

I agree with @Destrok its hard to compare them. Just because they're both RPG's doesn't make them similar. Witcher has a much more involved combat system than Elder Scrolls although I find crafting to be more rewarding in Skyrim. As for Fallout, it's crafting is more involved than either game because of settlement building. It's about what you want from the experience. On the budget side you can get skyrim on the cheap and mod it up for some fun. I wouldn't buy Witcher 3 right now because they'll probably announce a GoTY later this year and the price for the base game will drop. Fallout 4 is the hardest to find a deal and you won't see a GoTY announcement until next year I imagine. Bethesda will want to keep the focus on the Skyrim remastered coming out later this year and Dishonored 2.

ahhhh, Dishonored 2, that was the other game I was trying to remember.

havent done a lot of gaming over for a while due to lack of a decent rig. Last decent game was Borderlands 2, which I am looking forward to seeing in its full glory as well

Playing through Borderlands 2 from the Handsome Collection now with a few friends on Xbox. My rig has been barely functional for a while so I've been mostly on Xbox. Really hoping to change that in the future. I have a ton of stuff on Steam I'd like to start playing.

I might just wait for Witcher 3 GOTY edition, thanks for the info

I have a massive backlog of steam games that I have on sale to get through as well. Mainly the Arkham series, Assassings creed 4 and now Dead space 2

Should keep me occupied for a long time

Borderlands 2 with a bunch of mates is what gaming is all about

skyrim, I personally did not like the witcher AT ALL, maybe it was my own fault and I should try again, but I bailed after an hour or so because it seemed tedious to me, also whats up with not being able to jump.....like a 10cm ledge is the end of you. this isn't pokemon bro.

You are able to jump in witcher. you can also climb up some ledges and stuff like that too. try it out again, once you get past the first couple hours, the game just keeps getting better and better!

I love all 3 of these games. Skyrim and Witcher 3 have around the same amount content, idk about Fallout 4. You can't create your own character if Witcher 3, but it has AMAZING side-quests. Combat: Witcher 3 > Fallout 4 > Skyrim. As far as story goes they're all pretty good IMO

  16. Witcher 3 better. Techland made a great job
