[Status update] Razer Core shipment

    So I had the Razer Core in my cart yesterday morning ready to go. Add the coupon and didn't work. Email Razer. Core went out of stock. Got a reply from Razer the following day,

    "Please click on "Notify Me" to receive notification once the Razer Core becomes available. Once it is available for Order/Pre-Order, please add the Razer Core in your cart and add the Core Credit before checkout."

    Really...seriously??? Come on bro!

    I got a msg that the second time the code should work.

    "Thank you for contacting RazerStore.

    At this time, the Razer Core is currently on NOTIFY ME. Once it is available, you may attempt to place a new order as the code should work then.

    Please register your interest by clicking the Notify Me button (if you still have not) so we will notify you once it is in stock.

    Should you face any issue when ordering for the Razer Core (due to expired code) or other issues, do revert back to us and we will assist you accordingly.

    Thank you for your time and understanding. Have a pleasant day."

    Nah. I doubt these CS have any idea what they're talking about. The codes are still going to be useless unless they do some system level work to label them as eligible. But I think they are only saying that the reason you can't use the code is because the core is out of stock. When it goes in stock then you can use the code. All total BS.

    Yeah I got the exact same message last week, verbatim.

    I'm surprised so many people are having problems with their codes, I didn't have any issues with mine, but I just copied my code. Are the people that are having issues just copying the code from their old order status or are you guys trying to type it in? Maybe since the code is case sensitive you guys are having issues?

    I just copied and paste, it accepted but nothing changed from the summary cart. If I typed randomly it would say invalid code, so the system knows it's the right code but for some reason won't give the discount.

    Yeah that sounds plausible, but I'd still recommend to the people that really want one is to just constantly check razerzone multiple times a day everyday because you never know what they're gonna do.

    I feel like they were dropping little hints like when they added "limited units in stock" in red font. When I noticed that change I thought that something was about to happen, and sure enough a few days later they were being sold.

    That seems pretty equitable if they really have an issue doing refunds. I'd be happy with that if they resolve my case the same way. Thanks for the heads-up.

    For the ones that were lucky to get the pre-orders, is it order status still "order submitted" for you guys? I thought it should change to "order in process" soon, gets me worry a little.
     
  9. Mine shows 'Submitted' as well but no charge to credit card yet. Do you see 'Boxed shipment; under Razer Core? If I remember the Stealth preorder right I think that it means its shipping soon.

    I think I can share my experiences for those whose codes didn't work. So basically before the core went on sale, I wanted to try if my code would work or not. (This is because I pre-ordered my blade on Razer store then canceled it, and instead ordered from MS) I added some random products like Naga and other stuff, and applied the code. It worked! Then I found out that once I applied the code, I couldn't undo it. I started to worry if it was going to cause some troubles. After I cleaned the cookies, I found out my code didn't work at all. (Just like what Chrono said) Therefore I immediately contacted razer support and asked for help to make my code valid again. One day later, they replied me saying that my code would work, but I was too scared to try. Finally yesterday I ordered the core with $100 discount.

    So my point is, those of you whose code didn't work might have tried the code before, so you guys met the same trouble like I did.

    Mine says order submitted as well. This is how it was for me when I pre-ordered the blade, it showed order submitted the whole time until a day or 2 before it shipped out. My credit card did get charged $1.00 I believe just to confirm it was a legitimate card when I did place the order for the Core.

    I haven't tried my code before and still it didn't work so I guess it's Razer system fault and they need to fix it, I missed my chance to pre order because of that.

    No it's not like that, I copied and I tried typing, I tried from my mobile phone and from different browsers and no nothing worked so the problem with the code not us
    I hope Razer fixes this issue so when I am lucky to catch the 4th wave of sale I can order/pre order without issues, however I don't think that there will be another wave before the codes get expire so they will change the codes anyway (hopefully I am wrong and it will be another wave in few days with working codes, maybe they removed the sales to fix the code issue ! )

    Just to clarify my other post. My code did not work so I pre-ordered it anyway, I then emailed support with my order number and told them what happened. I received an email back stating that they would give me $100 RazerStore credit and would I like to cancel my Core order. I sent back a message that the $100 credit would work for me and NOT to cancel my order. This morning I just received an email, see below:

    "Since you were unable to successfully apply the code in the order, we will take the unused Razer Core credit and provide you a $100 RazerStore credit code which you can INSTANTLY use in RazerStore.com on your next purchase of ANY item. Yes, it will work on ANY available item in RazerStore.com.

    Once your package has been delivered, do inform us so that we can provide you the code.

    Thank you for your time and support.
    Sincerely,

    Team RazerStore"

    That seems like not a perfect solution for your case but would be a way to solve the problem if they have some restriction to change your order details.

    It really is fine by me, I am not a fan of the last part, however "Once your package has been delivered, do inform us so that we can provide you the code."
    I just feel that I might have to fight for the code, but we will see

    I just got the same message. I have a feeling they don't want people ordering a core just to convert their $100 core credit into a $100 anything credit, then canceling the preorder or doing a return to sender. I'm OK with that as long as it ships in a reasonable amount of time.

    I understand why they are doing it, I just hope I don't have to fight to get that credit.

    Agreed, but until the Core ships there doesn't seem to be a lot we can do about it.
