Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a Razer laptop for school. I was eyeing the Razer Stealth and going to wait until the Razer Core comes out, but with the $400 off deal for the Razer Blade, I am starting to change my mind.
Does the $400 deal bundle with the student discount? I don't think it does but I want to confirm. Also, what is the better choice for a college student in your opinion? Thanks for any feedback :smile_:

Ughm.... Don't you need the Stealth for the Core? The options are off. :smile_:

I don't see why it wouldn't. The 400$ off is a temporary price cut, it isn't a promotional code, so you should be able to use an additional promotional code such as a Student Discount on top of it.

This is a good question, especially since I find myself in need of a new laptop for school as well :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. As far as my own experience in retail goes, they usually give you the better of the two deals but don't allow them to stack. You could probably reach out to razer store support, but I'll see if I can't get in contact with someone and get an answer.

What you forget is that he's talking about purchasing a Razer Blade 2015 on a student discount, not the Blade Stealth.

Anyways, this question seems pointless. You can ask around, even contact Razer, or just try to put in the promo code for your student discount and see if it works. That's the quickest way to get an answer. Just try it.

Yeah, I am sorry about that. I was in a hurry and I didn't check my poll. Thank you for all the help, the Blade is looking very pleasing without any actual ballpark on when the core is going to be released.

What I find to be pretty stupid is how the Razer Blade Stealth is excluded from the Education program.

Like what?!? I thought it was meant for work/school?

Yeah, I'm waiting to see what the price of the Core will be. If its too high I won't get either.

Someone knows how to see the promotions active in your country store? I haven't been able to find this promotion on my eu store (if there is actually)

You have to take into account that it's still a new and hot item.

Not to mention the price tag is already cheap! ;)

    All about the money...

In addition to the exclusion list, all other systems are excluded as well because as of right now, they are all on sale, meaning that the 5% coupon is utterly useless lol

What exactly is the sale? :)

Well, we already know that the stealth and 2014 models are excluded as per the restricted list. In addition, the Razer Blade FHD, the Razer Blade QHD, AND the Razer Blade Pro currently have the $400 off + The division deal activated, and since the student discount can't be combined with other promos, these systems are excluded. All refurbished systems are also excluded because of the same reason. Ergo, there aren't any systems available to use the 5% coupon on due to either sales or promos :slightly_sad:((

To be fair, you're already discounted $400 USD... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    You shouldn't expect a 5% systems discount.
