I have been waiting for the Razer monitor for ages, but the price tag scares me a little.

I wish I could afford three of these for the ultimate surround setup. The only Razer things I own are a NZXT H440 desinged by Razer, a razer nostromo and a medium size goliathus control edition.

The Lenovo Ideacenter Y900 RE (Razer Edition) is due to be released in June starting from $2,299. The Lenovo Y27g RE gaming monitor will also be launching in the same month for $600.

I am torn on the monitor, while 8ms is far above the ideal range of 1-5ms response time, will 7-8ms truly be recognizable to the average human eye, or impact the reaction time?

I concur, but I think an OLED screen would add the finishing touch.

As much as I am excited for Razer to make a mobile phone. I sometimes think that would it be the right move for the company?

As of now, it'e either an Android (probably) or a Windows 10 Mobile. The problem with it is Razer might be making a phone that will just be ignored due to the wide variety of mobile phone companies out in the market, not to mention, Samsung dominates the android system.

This may not be relevant, but should there be a warranty claim, would we take it up with razer or with lenovo? i'm imagining lenovo as they will be the ones manufacturing it.

Really looking for more good things to come in the future from this partnership. Feel like both companies could really do well working together.

That is really disappointing to me... 1920x1080 for the resolution, 8MS response time and a price tag of $600? My 27" 4k monitor only cost me $400 a few months ago... I am kind of curious as to why it is so freaking expensive.

I was really looking forward to buying this monitor as well :slightly_sad:
Like I was gonna buy it on the release date, as long as it was 400 or lower. Preferably 250-300 for the specs that it has
