What are my options if I want to buy the new Stealth in Czech Republic? I will be going to business trip to US soon so thinking about purchasing it there, but how is it with the support/warranty in that case? Will I need to send to US if something goes wrong or can I use the closest authorized Razer partner? Anyone has any experience with it? Another question would be the power supply. Can I simply exchange the cable to the power brick or I need entirely new one for Europe?

Why don't you just buy from your friends or relatives in EU lands like Germany, you'll get better support and two years warranty here in case there is something wrong. I think you can also get CS or warranty here but it'll be quite complicated if you are not stay in US, for details you could contact EU CS support under EU Hotline Supports
About power supply, on my Blade 14, you just take off the cable and change it in EU power brick, don't know exactly about stealth.

Thanks for reply. I already thought about ordering from Germany, but the German keyboard is a real show stopper for me given the chroma keyboard is one of the coolest attributes of the laptop and QWERTZ layout is inconvenient for me. They don`t sell with UK/US keyboard in Germany, but also checking the UK store now. Its just so much cheaper in US and I do have colleagues going there on regular basis, so still haven`t decided. Pity Razer does not ship the US version to other EU countries except Germany and UK..
  5. Wishing I had the money to buy it. o_Oo_Oo_O

As i said you get in US cheaper than here, but they offer only a year warranty, here you get two years. If keyboard is your deal breaker, try get from UK store, or if you still want US keyboard try look at Hidevolution, bit pricey but I heard their CS is good and offers also global warranty.

Does the Stealth throttle? It's a known problem that many ultrabooks just can't cope with an i7 and that in some cases (like the X1) i5 is cooler and can run faster for longer.

I haven't been watching the cpu that closely. I can say when I've checked a few times when pushing the i7 100% on pic processing it's been consistently running over 3.19Ghz. Not sure if that helps...

Hey, just received mine today from Amazon France! :)
So, far, I'm quite please with it, I only heard the fan while installing my stuff initially.

Despit on what I read, I found the SSD to be quicker than the one I have on the Dell XPS 13 (that this one it will replace), Miracast is working fine (was really not sure about it) and DLNA as well.
I'm pretty sure that the autonomy won't be fabulous, but it varies from 4.5Hrs to 8Hrs as an estimation depending on what I'm doing. If I can get always 5 Hrs for sure, it will be fine. Anyway, It will be used mainly at home so that should'nt be an issue.
I like the keyboard better that th one of the XPS 13, except for this lightning that is not hihlighting the numbers on the AZERTY keyboard (whch is not super cool as quite useful to see the numbers in the dark)...

Now, I think the main bad point will be this autonomy which is not very "ultrabook" fashion but I'll learn to live with it, I'm certain ;)
The other thing is that I will have to sell my lovely Dell now!

Well, except for the Orochi that I was planning to buy (the only thing that was not that good with the previous I owned was the battery life, once again :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), I'll stop my razer buyings here, hoping the Stealth will last for some couple of years...

That's what I thought last year after bought Blade 2015, after a year, late 2016 14, Kabylake 14, and now planning to get stealth;) not mentioned their pheriperals like Orochi, sphex 2, lancehead wireless, goliathus stealth, etc now aiming power bank:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, i will maybe keep buying until i get hardware problems like reported from other users, is it maybe a lucky factor?

    Hey folks,

I spend much of my free time on a road (living in a van) and was not quite able to figure out how the entire USB-C charging works. Will any USB-C car charger (assuming it is up to 45W) work (e.g this one: Do any of you have any experience with the car charging of Stealth? Any recommendations?

  20. if only i had that much money to throw out but nope life hates me.
