    We’re really excited to announce the new Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 – now available with the Razer Mechanical Green, Orange and Yellow Switch designed for gaming.

    We continue to set the benchmarks as the only company designing mechanical switches from ground up for gaming. Whichever Razer Mechanical Switch you pick, they’re engineered for durability with up to 80 million key strokes. Powered by the award winning Razer Chroma lighting technology and with a growing list of supporting games with in-game lighting effects, the world’s best-selling mechanical keyboard is also the most advanced gaming keyboard around.

    With years of community feedback thanks to you through the various Razer BlackWidow keyboards, we’ve made improvements across the board – we’ve updated the font, re-aligned the function keys, improved on the LED indicator panel and refined the smudge free cover finishing. For that additional comfort, all our Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 keyboards come with a plushy leatherette wrist rest.
    We’ve made a subtle tweak to its overall look as well just for good measure. (Did I say that we’ve also included the Chroma Keychain in there?)

    You’re familiar with the clicky and tactile Razer Mechanical Green Switch and the silent but tactile Razer Mechanical Orange Switch. It’s time to get acquainted with an all-new feel with the linear and silent Razer Mechanical Yellow Switch.

    The new Razer Mechanical Yellow Switch offers a consistent and smooth keypress without the tactile bump to overcome. With a low actuation point and force to actuate, the Razer Yellow Switch is silent, sensitive and like the rest of our gaming Switches, deadly.

    one question, will there also be a te edition that has that wrist wrest?

    Awesome to see that Razer finally created their own version of the Cherry MX Red switches which are my favorite!

    Looks like Blackwidow v1 with new switch and wrist rest. I'm curious to see detailed reviews, so we can know more differences :)
    Also, I'm curious about TE version, maybe detachable cable and carrying pouch will be back :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    and I didn't even know that I needed a new keyboard!

    real question though are the shift modified keys fully illuminated now or are they like the old blackwidow keys where they are printed on in white but light doesn't pass through?

    Nice, they finally change the font. But damn... I am using BW Chroma TE (for 2 months now), and I feel sad looking at it.

    when you say silent, is it really ? would be amazing if it's true ! I currently own 2 black widows, 1 green switch and 1 orange.
