    But a max-q 1080 is miles more expensive than a 1060. Although at 2.3k a 1060 7700hq with a 1080p screen i just a rip off.
  2. WOW!!! Beautiful!!!

Can anyone with the Razer Blade FHD Pro tell me how the membrane keyboard is? I want the 120Hz screen really badly but it has a membrane keyboard :/

Razer is famous for their high prices, plus I doubt you will find 17", 120Hz IPS, for $1000, certainly much cheaper than $2300, though. That being said, arguably the better comparison would be to the RB 14, the 512GB is $2000 now, and the 1TB version $2400.

You should see what those grave robbers at Dell / Alienware charged me. I paid thru the nose for their top of the lemon. :mad_:
And each replacement laptop they sent me was less in value than what I had originally paid. :mad_:
They worked me over real good at alienware.:mad_:

Yeah Razer is famous with their high price and I like it it made me feels like I'm the only one who have it here when I use it in public or work place, keep that Razer;)
you should be here at IFA comparing Dell booth and Razer Booth it's like looking Apple Store (a lot of young poeple playing with it and staff has to distrube him in order to let other trying it and some media or maybe you tuber shoot the system and pheriperals display), and cemetery in Alienware booth, poeple come by, (when I was there most of them over 40 years old maybe), praying maybe one minute or so and go;) I can get easily trying all of them, exept amoled screen on 13 one, material and user experience couldn't be compared to the Blade line material and built quality it reminds me my first laptop with Windows 95 in my personal taste.

I have an Alienware 17 with the GTX1080, and I can say their quality control with this generation is really bad, with some serious heatsink issues. But after a repaste, thermal pad replacements, it kicks ass, cooling top notch after the tweaks, and very overclockable now. At the same price, I would pick it any day over the gtx1060, but of course it is thicker and heavier, but I have the RB 14 for portability.

New? No. I've bought peripherals and systems from them before, and I've been a member since 2015. It doesn't mean I can't be optimistic about their future endeavors.

To play 4k at a decent frame rate, best to get full powered really is a 1080Ti, but since it is desktop only and through TB3 is quite a performance hit, the next best portable option is a 1080 laptop. The MaxQ performs more like overclocked 1070, maybe a little better, and the 1080 in the RB Pro performs more like a MaxQ than a full powered 1080. Expensive, but when I go to the states, I have my eye on the EVGA S17 with 1080, if I manage to sell my alienware in time, since here in Brazil, laptops are double the price, so I always manage to sell my laptops at more than I paid and get new toys. Athough in your case, since you have a RB 14, perhaps the eGPU with a 1080Ti is not a bad option, despite the performance hit, it will still perform great at 4k. There are many eGPU coming out that are relatively cheap compared to the core, like the omen accelerator, or the already tried and test akitio node. $800 for the Ti or so, and another 250-300 for the box.....certainly cheaper than a full 1080 laptop.

I'll gladly help Q/A that for you, just send one my way and I'll do nothing but play games and work Insider for like a week straight. LOL

All joking aside, I'm really excited about how the laptops are evolving, I can't wait until I can own a Razer system, of any variety. :)

Damn, you right I'm still enjoying FHD gaming on my Blade 14 though, you know poeple always want something cool;) Yes I'll get probably Core, maybe V2 with 1080 ti, and maybe for higher resolution gaming I will use my upcoming stealth screen or buy 4K monitor for it. Anyway i hold for a moment my enthusiasm for getting Blade Pro...a couple month;)

IF I had the money, I might likely get this to show off in school. Play PUBG in calculus or something.
