I've been through one replacement with the Razer Blade Pro 2016.
Be prepared for surprises with the replacement.
If nothing else, this sets the expectations right
When mine arrived, three of the screws at the bottom of the case would not open.
We pried two loose with a colleague at my office, but one was stuck out of the factory.
We had to pry open the entire case, deforming the aluminum. It was terrible.
The original issue was a defective GPU.
The replacement GPU did work, fortunately.
However the hardware issue was a nasty shock.
Apart from Synapse and Cortex and NVidia issues, the hardware on the Razer Blade Pro 2017 seems fine.
Wow, did I just mention three separate software issues?
That's too much.
I almost sourced mine from there.
Sadly they did not have my model in stock (512 GB - so I can later upgrade to 6 TB with 3xSamsung Pro 960).
I asked them to email me when they got stock, which they never did, of course.
Maybe visiting the store is a good idea after all.
After you see how heavy it is, you may opt for a better brand.
How's the return policy with those?
I'd buy mine from a seller with unconditional 30 day, not store credit but refund to purchase method.

Best buy is 14 days, no questions asked. Newegg is 30 but may charge a restocking fee if it's not defective. Newegg has a premier membership that waives the restocking fee and provides free two way shipping. It's worth the cost if you're shopping for a high end laptop and are unsure on your choice. Also, unless you live in CA, there's no sales tax with Newegg, so the cost of the membership is pretty much nothing.
If you are getting blue screens when using XTU it could indicate an overly aggressive undervolt. You could try backing off a bit to see if it improves. I found that the built-in XTU stress test was not sufficient to determine if my undervolt was stable. I had to launch a demanding game to test.
Undervolting is awesome, hope this helps.
What are the best settings you have found?
When building our product, we consume all 8 cores of the CPU (building 4 self-extracting binaries simultaneously through intensive compression of 22 GB of data on two threads - reducing this to about 2.5 GB each), and all 32 GB of RAM (in fact, our ideal build machine would have 64 GB of RAM, but that's not an option).
This is some heavy-duty usage. I realize the exact settings are silicon-lottery decided, however it would be great if you could share a starting undervolt point to minimize the iterations of blue screens I have to go through
Currently the build takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes; if we could shave off about 20 minutes, that'd be amazing.
You could try Throttlestop instead, runs great for the RBP 2016 and along with Startup Delayer it will run automagically after shutdown/restart.

I did not find XTU to be very stable.
nice system , I´d pay closed eyes any amount for it, just want to know how efficient warranty service is
I think the real issue is a problem with XTU and Creators Update for Windows 10. When I was using XTU I hadn't even changed the settings in it and i would get blue screens. The moment I uninstalled it I never had the problem again.
I have now received my new RBP 2017 and I am very happy with it. Hats off to their team in Singapore, I received my replacement in 4 days!! (though to organise this has taken a month) I have ho track-pad issues so it not longer rattles when I click it, the keyboard also feels a bit better too. This time I have blocked (as well as I can) the Creators update from applying and most things seem to be working extremely well. Even XTU is behaving itself. The one thing that continues to annoy me though is Synapse 2.0 does not in any way control the fans and the keyboard drivers/software crashes randomly.
G-sync is also working great with the latest Nvidia drivers.
Razer please fix the damn software or allow us to control the fans more directly. I am sick of the case being 40c when nothing is being run on it.
I am still working through the Razer AU store about the international transaction charge which by ACCC standards they are not allowed to do, Steam used to charge in AU and have the same problem with international charges and they changed back to US because it was illegal.
Now to send off the old one so I can get a refund (advanced replacement) Hopefully that will get delivered successfully.
So, I wouldn't recommend doing creators update for windows 10, I would recommend under-volting a little and scaling back 2 of the cores to reduce the heat with minimal impact to performance especially at 4k.

The Retail Equation This is who Best uses to filter people with high returns. They will ban you for one year! Not 90days like Best Buy says but 365 days.
They are very rude and there is nothing Best Buy will do to help you, They simply give you a 1-800 number to call this rude company.
I am an Elite Member spent over 20k last year with Best Buy and they told me that they hated to loose my business but no one in the support department could remove this ban.
I will never step foot in another Best Buy and I am sure we will see them closing stores with this type of support.
Probably a good thing. I can't remember the last time I got a good deal from Best buy. I only shop there if they are the only choice.

Just as a reminder to everyone - this is only the case if you request them to send the replacement *before* you send back the broken item. If you agree to return your item via the regular RMA process first then allow them to ship out the replacement after the receive it then this would be a non-issue. This is just a way for them to ensure you do not end up with two Razer Blades at home at the same time then never return one.
I can't say one way or the other if they do yet (there's not one within easy driving distance for me) but I can only imagine that they will all sell them in time, the question is more of a "when" rather than an "if". At least that's what I have gathered from past store sales and previous laptops.
@MistakeNot , also if you do opt to pay for the advanced replacement, keep in mind that they can take a very very long time to refund the credit....
Nvidia seems will bring wishper mode that came with max q in upcoming driver update through newest nvidia experience for every pascal GPU. I hope it will solve the noise problems on gaming mode for everyone who feels it's too loud
Will there ever be a GTX1070 variant? I heard news that this GTX1080 is causing a lot of noise from fans?
No! There is more likly to be a Blade 15" with GTX 1080MQ.
