Not true. The majority on the higher end, which is what the Pro aims for, uses the 6820HK. That wouldn't make much happier, mind you, because I need an HQ (or a Xeon M), but the 6700HQ is only "standard" for mid-tier. That's much closer to a valid point, although there are a few contenders with different tradeoffs (e.g. the EVGA SC17 1070 packs the 6820HK, but a 1070 instead of a 1080; arguably more balanced). I'm looking forward to actual benchmark numbers to see which compromise suits me best... Clearly, we are all different. This one-size take-it-or-leave it approach with zero customization (except for the size of your diSk) will not please everyone. As for the docks, I don't carry them. I tend to leave them in those places, where I actually need them (and visit frequently). In a coffeeshop, I don't need HDMI or SDXC, although clearly YMMV.
