Not sure, I just set my 2 buttons as cmd+[ and cmd+] and they work fine.

I uninstalled synapse but my deathadder still crashes sierra. I can't work with the default apple mouse, its touch surface makes me want to kill myself and it doesn't have a middle button. somebody please tell me what I can do to make my deathadder work (I don't care about the extra buttons and high dpi, but I need the bloody middle button and the scroll ability).
  3. Interesting, I have a naga and upon removing Synapse, rebooting and re plugging it back in I was able to use it as per normal with all buttons minus DPI switching. :)

Just wait for sierra to be stable then update. Don't update now because other programs won't be compatible with it.

  6. I was starting to grow some more grey hairs trying to figure out what's causing my keyboard to not have any input on my iMac after upgrading to macOS Sierra.
I even tried plugging in a different mechanical keyboard, but the input was getting messed up from that one, too.
I resorted to using the macOS virtual keyboard in a futile attempt to navigate the OS.
I booted up the Windows partition of my Mac .... guess what? Keyboard works!!
So I uninstalled Synapse on the main partition-- keyboard works again!!

You guys had plenty of time to develop a Sierra-compatible version of Synapse, KNOWING that the official release is coming up. What gives???

I'm glad you mentioned that. I thought I was going crazy after I noticed the issues start to occur near the end of the beta period.

Also, Apple is not responsible for getting Razer's software working. Razer is responsible for working with Apple to get Razer's software working. If it is a bug on Apple's end Razer can report it to be fixed. But that doesn't appear to be the case here and Razer keeping everybody in the dark doesn't help either.

this is the big one. there was and is no press release warning people. and they knew about it.

the result is horrible frustration and support time wasted for paying customers.

    now it's an emergency.

I hope this thread will wake up Synapse and their developers team. Update your software to Sierra soon or you'll gonna loose customers.

  11. So, after a couple of hours of using the new OS, the razer keyboard stopped working.

Synapse shows an update since a couple of days even if I have the same version already. It just keep asking to update. I'll not start ranting for the mouse freezes or the lack of functionality in mac, as I grew used to it, but not being able to use the keyboard is in another whole level.

Contacted support with no reply and tried everything:

    - Restart
    - Connect/Reconnect
    - Reinstall Synapse
    - Restart 131512 times

So now I'm left without my external monitor.

    Anyone have any solution?

    Hey there,
I've seen a lot of guys recently who are running MacOS and have similar issues.
I think you will have to wait, until either the support replies or a new update arrives that fixes this bug.

@neow_neow Could someone take a look at his support case? Thank you! :)

Nostromo not working either.. it is unbelievable that Razor didn't make synapse working before MacOs was officially released.. shame

  15. I don't expect much from Razer after using their products in mac, but this is too much.

If you search for keyboards/mice not working in Sierra, you see reddits about it since June approximately. At least if you know it doesn't work, let me know before I update to Sierra.

I really hope they fix the issue ASAP, it's ridiculous.
  16. I downloaded an update for Synapse (didn't really look at what it was), but still I can't use my profiles. Ingame (World of Warcraft) the keys are set to default while I've changed them in my profile. Any update on that? I kinda rely heavily on my mouse.

I have the same problem – all keys are set to default.

Same here, profile showing assignment as it should be, but when I press it sent default keys instead of key from profile.

Screen Shot 2016-09-21 at 20.38.23.png A new update for Synapse on Mac OS (probably NOT Sierra yet) stated that update 1.58 would make Synapse "ready for new products", and to stay tuned to "find out what they are".

Is this a teaser for new products to the Razer family or referring to products that aren't currently fully supported by Razer on Mac OS (the way many products don't have the same Chroma functionality on Mac OS as they do on Windows), being fully supported in the near future?

**Edit** This was moved to this thread for some reason, although the question in this wasn't about compatibility with Sierra so much as what new products Synapse was getting ready for (moderators, are you paying attention?). PERHAPS the "ready for new products" bit was actually in regards to OS Sierra compatibility, and that's why it was moved to this thread from the new thread that it was . . .

Again, a teaser by Razer, carried out this time by Razer Insider moderators?
