I do not have a Razer keyboard.

I want to change profiles (really just the lighting) on my Mamba,Tartarus, and Firefly.

    How can I do this?

I am playing a game and have extracted "game events". I wish to change the lighting based solely on these game events (without me manually changing colors/profiles.)

(I will use AutoHotKey to send the proper keypress when needed, so no keyboard will ever get used anyway.)

I assume you can change your profile's without a razer keyboard, if your devices have a programmable buttons on it, for example you could do it with the mouse and maybe with the tartarus too, but i don't know if the Firefly has any programmable button on it so that you could activate it on click.Usually if you want to have the same color and effect at your peripherals should click on synchronize but i don't think you can do it from anywhere else but the synapse. If you have any program that open your synapse and switch it automatically you can do it.

Well, I would be in the middle of playing a game, so I will not be able to open synapse and do anything there. If I could send a keystroke(s) to it in the background, then that would work, but I don't think so.

The idea is, while I am playing Elite Dangerous and my ship lands, I want all of my lights to go off. When I take off, they should come back on. I have gathered that event data, so that is one part of it.

I experimented by assigning some ".exe." program to change the profile of my devices. This works, but it only works while that ".exe" is actively running. Once it is minimizes, Razer devices no longer 'see' it, and act like it is not running.

I programmed a couple Mamba mouse buttons to switch profiles. I will see if I can artificially 'press' them with software.

Manually pressing buttons is a no-go. I want this automatic.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Mouse buttons 10 and 11 cannot be sent using AutoHotKey.
    I'll try the developer's section...

The most automatic way to do this would be to press a key to switch lights, but if you want it to change itself when some event interferes you'll have to see if there's any chroma integrated lightning effects for your game compatible with the Razer Chroma, as i'm sure you already know about the other games integration and see how it works. Most of them comes when you get a new keyboard the games lightning effects are installed by default into profiles.

I'm rocking a Naga 2014 and a BlackWidow Tourney. I play Elite: Dandgerous a lot. It's actually the only game I'm playing right now. If you're still working on this, I'd love to contribute. Some lighting events would be great.

I don't know where to start from.

I have seen some C++ (or C# or something like that) but was unable to figure out exactly how to control the lights.

I have been able to grab ED game events, and have started/stopped some MFD videos, as well as start/stopped other lighting and displays.

I have 4 items left to control. (Thrustmaster products (would need to hack into them for that , unless they update their software), a GOverlay display (they will add an on/off function on their next update), the keyboard (no luck on that one, would buy another one if I could control the lights), and all the Razer products.

    You can see my progress here;
