When shall we get a new switch blade?

With the success of a UMPC massdrop(or at least over 200 votes dro.ps/v/N9JORKQ) CLEARLY there is interest in UMPCs, there's a few projects like the open pandora, but nothing really too substantial for x86 gaming.

There have been some fair improvements in mobile computing power since the switchblade was last seen, as such I propose you begin work on a new switch blade with the following key specs:

    Processor:
Carrizo APU with 4/8GBs HBM RAM, would probably have to be semi-custom, but AMD has opened the doors for such a thing, and carrizo is on the horizon.

    Dislpay:
360 degree hinge for the display.

the display can be stolen from whatever 1080p IPS phone display.

    Keyboard:
Forget the keys with screens, just give us as full featured a QWERTY as possible.

Potentially with a layout that would allow for a "gaming" mode to be set up, allowing multiple keys to act as single keys for WASD, arrow keys, and larger hotkey buttons for games like dota.

Maybe you could even design the keys in such a way that larger slim plastic keys can be clipped on temporally.

    Battery:
User quick swappable batteries, so long as I can game for 4+ hours, with a 10 hour normal battery life I'd be fine.

    IO:
Going to need 2 full size USB 3.0 slots razer, if not at least a USB 3.1 Type C connector, I'd rather not have to carry a hub though, the port for charging can simply be placed on the batteries themselves.

3.5mm audio ports, again, less wires hanging out of it the better.

And a Mini DP out would be nice.

    Additional Add-ons:
A bundle with your turret would be nice, especially if it included an updated Orochi Mouse.

A portable 1080p projector for those hotel room walls would be neat as well, maybe it could even use the same batteries as the device.

Thanks for making it if ya do razer, but it would be a nice little device, either this or a macro tablet/All in one.

Not sure how I didn't see this earlier, I think the time is rapidly approaching for the Switchblade to actually make sense.

I would prefer a Skylake CPU, if the integrated GPU is good enough it should rival a 660m/670m, if not better, which would be enough for moderate gaming.

I think a 7" screen, two USB C ports (which doubles as the charger) would be enough.

6" would be perfect since the display can be taken from 6 inch phones already being made, lots of them are already at 1080p so it's overkill.

Otherwise intel has really stepped up their iGPU game, but an APU with HBM would most likely beat out whatever intel has

I didn't think about the 6" form factor size, but that may be a possibility. My only concern would be the actual amount of screen real estate available for gaming. I used an HP Stream 7 for a bit and it was doable, especially compared to an iPhone 5 screen.

For gaming on the go it should be fine, especially since at 6" it fits much easier into a pocket than a 7 inch device They just need a solid controller for it, something like a modified LYNX 9, but that is built into the base with the hardware.
