Will there be any slim keyboard options in the future?

    Hey, first time posting here.

I've owned Razer products since 2010. My first was a Mamba mouse and I loved it. Then I decided to get a keyboard. Since I always bough slim keyboards due to being used to laptops through work, the Lycosa was a great option. It wasn't exactly slim, but it felt silent and easy to press. Sadly my Lycosa stopped working last year.

Having to find myself a new keyboard, it was weird not to find a replacement to the Lycosa. So I went with the DeathStalker. It's a great keyboard, and I love it. But it just isn't the same as a laptop keyboard. The keystrokes are noisy, and the keys are hard to hit. It feels like a workout for my fingers. I've never been a fan of mechanical keyboards, and the Lycosa was the only good-quality-slim-non-mechanical keyboard on the market. And the DeathStalker ain't nothing like it.

Will there by any non-mechanical keyboards in the future? I'm looking forward for a Lycosa replacement, or maybe something that's exactly like the keyboard for the Razer Blade Stealth (Which by the way is the best laptop I've ever owned!). I hope it's not asking too much. Don't know if anyone else likes slim keyboards like me?

    Kind regards.

The Deathstalker is not a Mechanical keyboard, it is a membrane keyboard.
It may just be down to personal preference, as I am currently using a deathstalker with no problems and I love it, Its not too hard to press (for me) and I managed to type a 10 page paper with no fatigue, in fact its much easier to type on than on my laptops keyboard.

The Deathstalker seems to be Razers' only keyboard that is not mechanical as of now.

I feel like Razer should release a standalone keyboard that's the same build as a the Blade keyboard, similar to what Apple do with their keyboards. This way you can move from laptop to docked without changing the experience.

The Turret seems like the closest option at the moment.. http://www.razerzone.com/au-en/store/razer-turret

So you like a pantograph keyboard. Speaking honestly, no company releases that type of keyboard as a gaming purpose. you'd better find some products from 'for office' category.

The turret is a nice option indeed.

    That's a bummer

If my memory serves me correctly, the DeathStalker is the keyboard used in both Razer Blade AND Turret so it seems strange that you would like RB & T and not the DS.

My first Razer keyboard was also the Lycosa, so I can definitely understand your enthusiasm for it. I suppose you could always try to find a seller online, you may get lucky and find one in new or like new condition.

It's really different. the DeathStalker keys are much harder to press than the Razer Blade Stealth's keys.

Try to find some resellers to find it. Your probably may find it because I had seen Razer Tron still available in some store.

I don't know about any new non mechanical keyboards coming out but you might be able to buy some non Razer keyboards if you don't like the DS or you could look on Amazon or eBay for tour old keyboard that isn't as broken as yours
