I have BlackWidow v3 Pro with yellow switches. Can I replace them with Razer Mechanical Switches Replacement Pack for Gaming Keyboard: Gen-3 Green Clicky Switches?Yes, I do know my keyboard doesn’t support hot swapping. I’m content with unsoldering/soldering them.

No drivers are showing, it doesn’t show up in razed synapse, but it makes noises when I unplug it after a factory reset. Please help🙏

I just picked up a blackwidow v4 75 and the backspace is making a click sound every time I press on it (doesn’t really make the sound if I press slowly). I have swapped out the switches and keycaps for my own and I tried to apply some tape on the back to deepen the sound a little more but it didn’t really work so I took it out. I also tried lubing the stabs a bit, but I don’t think they’re the issue. I feel like it’s the piece of black tape on the back of the pcb that’s making the sound, but I want to be sure before I take it out.

Ich hatte Synapse 3 installiert und Tartarus Pro eingebunden. Alles hat funktioniert.Jetzt habe ich ein Upgrade auf Synapse 4 gemacht. Dann eine Profil-Übertragung von 3 auf 4 durgeführt. Hat er auch übernommen. Wird alles richtig angezeigt. Aber die Tastatur reagiert nicht darauf.Kennt jemand das Problem? 

I got it to turn on but it won’t type 

So, this is the second tartarus I’ve bought and the same thing happened, the tumb joystick pad died, specifically one of the keys, I must say razer product quality has gone down the drain over the years.I’ve been a loyal Razer user for over 10 years, still go black widdow that is 10+ years old and works perfectly, even after spilling my drink over it a couple of times (couple of LEDs died bu keys work) Had chimera headset that also worked for 10+ years but upgraded it recently to nari ultimate, the nari fell appart after less then a year of useage, the plastic simply broke glued it back together and works fine now but hey, for a 200€headset to have plastic simply fall appart… horrible experience.Then I was using the Nostromo keypad, worked perfectly for 10 years, but decided to upgrade to tartarus v2… after 2-3 years the thumb pad stopped working, one of the microswitches died, out of warranty ofcourse.I bought another tartarus  and this time I got the v2 PRO instead of the regular one

Hello, I have blade 15 2020 rz09-0328 4k version. I factory reset. then they keboard light don't work. I updated, install re install, factory reset again, repeat. The from F9 restore razer from factory then reinstall the sypnapse still not working. I read about the windows 11 dynamic lighting but still no. Also on sypnapse 4 i don't see the option to turn of the light of theonly on sypnapse 3. Did anyone found a fix? It could lead me to replace the keyboard but cant fin for now. Only for advanced model where it has an extra flex. Also if turn on the laptop in dark place the keyboard will light quickly in white very dim.

i was checking inside my keyboard when suddenly the white cable snapped, tried to repair and the other two          ( black and red ) broke too, any fixes or where can i buy a new cable?

while I’m playing, my character just  goes wandering off. Drivers maybe? Nothing i try will stop it.

Hi, i made the mistake of buying a French AZERTY Tenkeyless instead of a QWERTY and thought i would need to send the keyboard back but after having a look at my old Razer Black Widow keyboard from 2014 that has better looking keys IMO and easier to read i realised they are compatible with the AZERTY Huntsman Tenkeyless and i cleaned them all with alcohol and swapped them over and set it up as a UK keyboard in Windows and it works fine however in the Razer Synapse software it was still showing the macro settings as if i was using a AZERTY keyboard.I think you should add a way to change your default keyboard layout in the macro section because it could potentially become confusing after swapping keys.I had a look around the Synapse instal folder and found one called “en” and one called “fr”.Inside the “en” folder is a file called “System.Windows.Interactivity.resources.dll”. Recently bought the BW V4 Pro 75% for the OLED, but after updating my Synapse from 3 to 4. There’s constant problem with the keyboard itself and the software.OLED doesn’t get updated from any option - It’s either stuck on the “Animation” or shows 0c for the CPU/GPU Temp. Chroma doesn’t seems to be update at all for all devices.Stop with the lame suggestion of “Update firmware to the latest” and “Clean Reinstall”, I have done multiple reinstall and nothing seems to be working. Anyone else having the same problem?PS: Wish BW V4 Pro 75% works with Synapse 3.

I own a Razer Huntsman (RZ03-0252), I’ve updated firmware, hard resets, but I don’t know why my “s” key doesn’t work… The weird thing is… When I turn on my computer the key works perfectly fine after a bit like 15 minutes, when I press the key it starts to “spam” like a single click would do this: “ssss” and after a little more it dies completely, the key stops working. It used to last long the “ssss” issue but now is just a little after turn on the computer. Gaming with this is horrid as you can imagine, you can’t walk backwards…Also minor thing I’ve 3 keys are off the colors chosen in the studio app but don’t mind much to be fair… More worried about the “s”…Hopefully someone will help me find some solution(This post was written with the “s” on the Ctrl + C”)

I bought the V2 second have to get a head start on learning controls while i save money to transition to PC gaming. It was purchased to play DayZ on PS4. I've done a lot of research in the past week. It appears that you can use QMK Configurator with 192.168.7.1 and remap the firmware.  Normally i wouldn't even bother looking into this but I have discovered the key binds on V2 only work while plugged into said PC. I can plug it into the PS and it work with the default layout. I can move with WASD, tab for inventory, and a couple other actions but its limited. The default layout has 4 buttons instead of the 8 buttons option. The more and more i learn about how PCs work and coding the more i learn everything is possible if you know what you're doing.  Please guide me into customizing the firmware so i can reconfigure the default controls to be the games controls I need so I can bypass synapse and use it on console. Hi there,I’m using a Razer Ornata Chroma Destiny 2 Edition (wired) keyboard and have run into an issue where none of the F1–F12 function keys are responding, even when using the Fn key. I’ve already: Performed a full hardware reset (Esc + Caps Lock + Spacebar while plugging in) Tried Fn + Esc, Fn + F10, etc. Confirmed keys are mapped correctly in Synapse Disabled Gaming Mode Reinstalled Synapse and drivers Tested on another PC (same issue) Checked Hypershift and profiles – nothing unusual I believe the Fn layer may be stuck due to a firmware issue. I’m not requesting a repair — just a firmware reset utility or workaround that can restore proper function key behavior.Since my keyboard is out of warranty and I can’t submit a support request through the official site, I’m hoping someone here can assist or point me in the right direction.Thanks in advance!

I’ve tried unplugging and doing the esc + caps technique, Uninstalling razer synapse, and every google search known to man. Nothing appears to be working. The only success I have is the esc+ caps after the second time I have up to 5-10 minutes of usable Esc - F12 and then the keys don't work again.  No, this is not a cleaning issue. 

Hi, like in the topic, my not even 2 year old huntsman elite keyboard sometimes cant recognize that im HOLDING ESC key down, instead it sometimes dubbelclick while holding it down and sometimes even more than dubbel.And some days it also dosent recognnize its pressed down at all.  Anyone had this issue before or heard about this? Can’t really decide if i want to invest in a new expensive keyboard from razer again if 1-2 years is the time it takes to get these kind of issues.

Hello,I just got the brand new blackwidow V4 Pro some days ago, everything looks fine except the command dial.When i turn it to the right, it zooms on the page correctly but when i turn it to the left, nothing is happening, i can’t unzoom, i have to go in the page/app settings to make it back normal.Tried to go into synapse but we can’t control the command dial so it’s not an issue from there. Using French version (AZERTY).Any help over this please ?

I bought this blckwidow v4 pro keyboard months ago from the official razer uk site. I did opened some cases but they wanted me to reset the keyboard etc after months of testing it never gone away. The odd thing is my T key were missclicking or double clicking 2 months ago but now. My A,J,COMA buttons have the same issue. T Key is fixed somehow. But others are gone. How do I fix this issue?

 Incident Reference # 240305-001266 - I purchased a Razer Ornata V3 X keyboard in December 2023. My keyboard is just over 90 days old presently. I do not game with the keyboard. My PC is used for photoshop / lightroom primarily. The keys A, E, S, D, T, R. F. C, Shift are all suffering from paint / coating loss on the keys, some of them quite severely. The quality is truly disgusting in fact i have had many keyboards over the years and never had this happen before. Razer support admitted in the first interaction with them that the item was faulty and need replacing, and they admitted I should. expect better. Since then, they have done everything possible to avoid replacing the keyboard including having a different representative respond to my complaint each time. Now before they consider sending a replacement they want me to remove all serial numbers from this device, then cut the USB cable and send them pictures of the destruction. My questions would be about the diferent product codes among the keyboards my blackwidow chroma has the 01220100-R3M1 and theres this one ending with 200-R3U1 but ive seen a some R3W1 endings and seen 1220800-R3M1 i thought its for the switches or mby its the code for tenkeyless version but ive seen the same codes for fullboard and for tenkeyless and seen it with different switches. And my second question is that as i mentioned my board has 1220100 as a code but on the picture where the blackwidow codes listed my code is not there. Whats the reason for it.Thank you for reading through all of this.

I need help.I was playing valorant and suddenly my keyboard lagging. It’s moving by itself for a minute then completely shut down. No light up, not responding, completely nothing like it suddenly just die. I tried unplug and plug it back to my computer but it just didn’t work.  I also did uninstall the app and install it back but still nothing work. I’m really frustrated because I purchased this keyboard not that long ago. How can I get it fix or have it take care under warranty. 

I'm trying to get a better gaming setup now that I have a fancy new gaming desktop, and I'm considering trying out a Tartarus; I have some nerve and mobility issues that make using my pinky difficult, and I'm hoping a keypad might help a bit with keymappings. I use a Razer Naga mouse, which is one of the only reasons I can even play some games, but I still find that sometimes it isn't enough buttons when I'm unable to click things like ctrl or shift with my pinky.So basically, I'm trying to figure out what makes the most sense for a keyboard to go along with it. I guess my main question is this: what keyboard size makes the most sense, TLK or 60% mini?I can say with certainly that a full sized keyboard will be too large for my desk setup (pictured here), so I defintiely need a smaller form factor. I was looking at the Hunstman or the Blackwidow line, since they have both of these options, but other Razer keyboards might be better for me, I'm honestly not sure. I don't do any kind of cr
