Razer Synapse 4

razer synapse 4 when  i open pc the dont boot automatic need to open it manual all the time to work how can fix this strat up is on on synapse 4 somthing wrong and services is all on 

After updating to Synapse 4, the DPAD key bindings on my Tartarus Pro cannot be configured. Is there a way to download an older version? I am eagerly anticipating Razer's official release of a new, fixed version of Synapse 4. The current faulty version is extremely uncomfortable and frustrating to use. It's just so hard to adjust to.  

I have a game (SWTOR) that requires Synapse 4 to be in administrator mode in order for the mouse to function in the game. It’s easy enough to do this manually by exiting Synapse then re-running it from a shortcut in administrator mode. But I have to do this every time I restart the computer and would prefer to have it auto-run in administrator mode.Normally I’d look for a file named synapse.exe and set its properties. But Synapse 4 isn’t quite that straightforward because it’s run by a launcher of some sort, so I’ve set the properties of RazerAppEngine.exe instead. Hopefully that will work.Is there some sort of setting or perhaps a parameter for RazerAppEngine.exe that would accomplish this instead? Or the actual Synapse 4 executable file?Google searches haven’t been helpful.

I have a Deathstalker V2 and have Synapse 4 running in Windows 11. I have setup a couple extra profiles and specified a custom Static color to be used in each profile. I then assigned the profile to the onboard profile slots (red, green, blue, teal). The profiles appear to be created properly because when I shutdown Synapse, I can press the Fn+Menu key combination and the keyboard lights up to reflect the color-coded value of the profile that I switch to. However, the custom static color that I have defined in Synapse 4 for each profile does not get stored in the onboard profile. Instead, I just get the standard set of color/styles.I see in the forum that many others have reported this, going back quite some time, but there is very little explanation or solutions. The online documentation specifically states that onboard profiles are effective even when Synapse is not running.

Hello,There seems to be an issue with Synapse 4.After rebooting the PC, the Synapse tray icon shows that no devices are connected.However, once I manually launch Synapse, the devices appear in the tray and everything syncs properly.I've already tried a clean installation.Even after formatting the PC, the same issue persists.What could be causing this to suddenly happen? synapse4 ver 4.0.86.2508050339

Let me start by saying that Synapse is the worst software ever created for PCs. No other software has been as broken after all these years of existence. After last update I have the same problem as people in other threads, which only further demonstrates that Razer doesn't have any software testers on their team. They're forcing us to pay for the hardware and then become free testers. Synapse doesn't load after system startup when "Minimize applications after startup" is checked. When this option is unchecked, everything works normally.When it starts minimized, you have to click the icon and manually enable Synapse, and only then will RGB work.How can something like this not be noticed? Only God and the pseudo-testers at Razer know. To all those who say my tone is aggressive, of course I am. I reported basic bugs here years ago, and they still haven't been fixed. Like the MOUSE DOCK PRO permanently lighting up after turning off the computer. There have been dozens of threads about this

Whenever I set any macro to use toggle continuous playback, overtime the playback will begin to slow. The total duration will be 7 seconds but as it runs it’ll take 13 seconds or longer to complete.  tried fresh install and pc restart nothing works. 

Please for the absolute love of God! why can’t i use the synapse app without having to first connect to the internet. This needs to be fixed Razer! Please for God’s sake!!

Blackwidow V3 (Analog) volume wheel light completely turns off while adjusting volume or while muted, after the 26-Mar-2025 Synapse update - it’s supposed to glow white during adjustment, and red while muted. I downgraded to Synapse 3 from 4, and it works perfectly fine again so it seems to be a Synapse issue. Are there any fixes, and how do I get this to the attention of Razer?

So today I was prompted to upgrade to S4, and as a result I've spent 2 hours setting it, only to roll back to S3 in the end.I’m so frustrated and angry… Why would they recommend it if it so buggy?!No matter what I did, it couldn’t normally transfer my Studio profiles with that migration tool. Almost everything was lost. I even tried importing saved profile files, but the new Studio saw only one profile in them. Is it really that hard to have backwards compatibility for importing?! Especially since they have that migration tool, so the basic logic is already there.I also could not make Synapse profiles to autoswitch when switching to Excel (which is one of the main reasons for me to using this product in the first place): when I tried to add it to the linked games (why not finally rename it to games/apps?!), nothing happened. After some time and no explanation, when I opened this menu again - it mysteriously appeared there. but now I could not delete it been linked to one of the profile

Hey there, I moved from Synapse 3 to 4, since it was recommended.😅  I have a Razer Mambe Elite, which I sticked “Mouse Skates”, but its an awesome stuff. Its lifting my mouse a bit, so I had to calibrate it giving me a “lift off” value of 3.I was happy with Synapse 3. Everything worked, after restarrt of the PC the calibrated mouse pad was loaded automatically. Now with Synapse 4, I calibrated the mouse pad, everything worked fine. Lift Off value is at 3.BUT everytime my PC is restarted or after shut down, or standby, it seems that the calibrated pad is not loading, although the green checkmark is correctly set:And yes, Synapse is set to start with WindowsSo I have to open Synapse, and use a second standard mouse to click on standard and back on my calibrated “Mouse Mat” so my Rzaer Mamba is working correctly.Any advice? 😃Thanks alot

Hi, as I said in the title, my Razer Nari mic keeps getting lower by itself , only with Synapse 4.It’s kinda strange, it seems like my pc is possesed lol.I reinstalled Synapse 3 and I don’t have this problem anymore, but the audio seems muffled.

Everything about the audio visualizer works and reacts to audio fine except the very bottom row of keys and strangely the very right column of keys on my keyboard don’t light up. As if its a bottom right corner boarder. However the left column and top row of keys light up and react fine.

As you can see in the attached photo file, the device is turned off and cannot be connected. All the methods the support page has told me will not fix this.

I’m unable to enable the Mode toggle to control the fans attached to my Razor PWM fan controller. When I click the switch to enable it, I just get a blank window. This started happening when I switched from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4.

How I can find this file? It isn’t in that folder in Error Message! Thanks in advance!

Just updated from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4 and after a fresh install and restarting my PC my Naga Trinity will randomly act as if my scroll wheel is being rolled up/down. Only fix I have found is to change the profile in Synapse 4 for the mouse but this is only temporary. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm experiencing an issue with my Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed. On Razer Synapse 4, the battery indicator is stuck at 100%, no matter how long I use the mouse. I've tried unplugging and reconnecting the dongle, reinstalling Synapse, and even switching to a different USB port, but the problem persists.Has anyone else faced this issue? Are there any fixes or workarounds to ensure the battery level is displayed correctly?

This is something I have talked about in the discord and with customer service and I am so glad you added this to the update. I get a git like version controller for my settings, my games can be played without logging in. The cloud requires a log in and that is super fair, but thank you so much for letting me be able to be offnet and enjoy the game pad I have. I have a Tartarus V2 and have put many hours on it, thoroughly enjoying the hardware and Simple software. You peeps also separated rgb control from other firmware which I greatly appreciate as well. Thanks for the great work and I look forward to seeing what y’all come up with next. ty ty cheers.  

I tried many times to update Synapse but when I click the button it downloads something, ask for making changes in PC and nothing happenes then, how can I update Synapse then?

Hello all!  Has anyone been experiencing issues with mouse mappings on Synapse 4 not saving for the new Pro Click V2?  Even though I’ve disabled some of the mouse mapping functions on Synapse 4, it still prompts the actions.  It’s as if Synapse 4 has no actual bearing on the mouse mappings? Thanks for any assistance in the matter.

 no really I cant access the settings for my headphones cause the “module” never loads correctly, and when It dones it breaks instantly.

I just upgraded to the latest version… I had my keyboard, mouse, and mousepad all set up with custom colors. It took me a while to get it the way I wanted on my keyboard especially.  Now it’s all back to the default.  Am I going to have to do this all over again?!  How can I get back what I set up before?  Major fail!

does not show notifications when switching profiles in games and on the desktop, is there a solution to fix it?
