Razer Synapse 4

This used to work fine, but for the past few weeks (probably following an update), Synapse now opens to the desktop after Windows starts.I’ve checked the setting in Synapse, and turned it off and back on.I’ve also checked the Run registry setting which appears to be correct."C:\Program Files\Razer\RazerAppEngine\RazerAppEngine.exe" --url-params=apps=synapse,chroma-app --launch-force-hidden=synapse,chroma-app --autoStart=1Generally, Synapse 4 has been more stable this year and having release notes at long last is a welcome improvement. Just a shame I now have this new bug.

razer synapse 4 i download it and press launch but the crosshair loads for 1 sec and nothing happen  i just got new razer mouse and i can use it because software problems (:

I am experiencing a critical issue with Razer Synapse 4 where the software completely refuses to write or apply any custom configurations, macros, or keyboard rebinds down to my wired Razer DeathAdder V3.When I assign a macro (e.g., an automated "E" key loop) or a basic keyboard function directly to Mouse Button 4, Synapse 4 visually displays the change as saved and linked on my monitor. However, the physical hardware continues to act strictly as standard Mouse Button 4, ignoring the profile.Here is everything I have checked and done to isolate the issue:Verified that the Macro module is fully installed and up to date under the Synapse 4 "Devices & Modules" management dashboard. Checked active Windows background processes: RzActionSvc (Razer Central Service) and companion engine assets are running normally. Cleared local app configurations by deleting both the %localappdata%\Razer and %appdata%\Razer temporary profile cache folders to resolve any corrupted migration states. Execute

I formatted my PC a few minutes ago and wanted to install Razer Synapse, but when I try to open it, I get an error (RazerSynapseInstaller.err). Inside the folder, it says (Failed to write installer file (Permission denied)).I’m running Windows 11 and have already disabled the firewall and antivirus, but it still isn’t working.I look forward to a reply.

I just cannot fight version 4 anymore, its absolute trash. Went back to 3 and will deal with any issues after Jan. 20th 2026 or just replace all my gear.

I was attempting to organize macros into folders and once I click on a folder within a folder the entire macro tab turns grey. It won’t properly show the macro tab again until I close is and reopen it. However, now I cannot see any of the macros I’ve placed into the folders.Before clicking the folder:Here is what it looks like after I click the folder:Please advise on how to fix.

at this point i try everything. just one week ago i bought my deathadder on amazon today im trying to turn on the dongle i did everything it just doesnt turn on, i didnt even know there was a led on it at this pint until i watch a video of how it works, updated firmware , try it on other pc, uninstalled synapse 2 times, erased on the device manager the mouse and it doesnt even popped on the pc yet , i swer i tried everything and i dont live in the usa so i cant turn it back easily i gotta pay for the turn back to what should i do

The latest Synapse update (I had one yesterday I think) disabled the automatic profile switch for some applications. The profiles do not switch automatically for Google Chrome or VSCode, but they do work for others like Visual Studio or some games.I tried everything that was suggested in some support threads regarding the faulty profiles switch (there are lots of them apparently, meaning Synapse is quite buggy).Razer, please debug the latest release or give me a link to an older version of Synapse 4.

Hello Razer team,As the title stated "Razer Chroma Visualizer not loading after Windows 11 starts". Here are the steps that I have taken in particular order.Uninstall Synapse 4 and Chroma software. Use a cleaner. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Reinstalled Synapse 4 along with Chroma. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Logged into the Razer app. Enabled Chroma Visualizer. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Chroma does not start after Windows 11 login. Uninstalled Synapse 4 and Chroma. Use a cleaner. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Installed Synapse 3 w/Chroma Sidenote/from my point of view. Synapse 3 sees Chroma as part of it's software and is able to launch decently after logging in. But Synapse 4 seems to treat Chroma as a separate software. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Chroma works perfectly after logging into Windows 11.Only issue found, is that Synapse 3 does not seem to recognize Barracuda X Chroma is powered on.

I’ve been using Synapses since back in 2012 when it was 2 & used it all the way up to the point when it was no longer being supported & you had to use 3 or 4.one the features that 2 had was that if you had multiple programs open & you had a profile for each program, that as you clicked over to the other program, Synapse would recognise that you clicked over to a different program & automatically switch the profile over, it even displayed in green text in the lower right corner of your primary monitor the program it just switched over to. using 4, there doesn’t seem to be any such functionality or any setting to do that (or is there, i’m i’m just missing it?)It is getting old having to manually switch back & forth, every few minutes, if there is this setting, can someone please provide instructions on where this setting is… but if the function is currently not available in 4, can you dev’s please put it back?

1). I can't have mouse profiles on any of those open razer UI's, how to get there ?2) .. when you will support Linux customers as the first class citizens  ? .. or we should be paying for forever for our heresy to choose something better than Microsoft thing ?.

pls help, my installer doesnt even work, like it doesnt even install the app, everytime i click on the installer it just doesnt do anything

When I open chroma and try to customize it doesn’t work, when I select and try to click a color, it has prohibited/ no entry sign.

I’ve got Asus Vivobook laptop, Windows 11 and Synapse 4 installed.Almost everything was just fine until one of the Windows updates.Sound became crackling, distorted with unstable loudness levels.I’ve tried everything, have texted to support: they just said that my earphones were faulty so I got to return them on warranty… I did it, got a new pair and..The issue is still there.Whenever I turn off “Turn on audio enhanements” in Windows settings the problem dissapears along with better sound, eq and stuff. So it’s not an option.So I tried the following:removed everything with razer tool installed synapse 3 instead of synapse 4Everything WORKS JUST FINE.Installed Synapse 4Issue came back.Also I’ve reinstalled every sound and chipset driver in System, manually clean registry and still no results.Seems like Razer Software can’t work properly with Windows up to date.!!!Please find the solution!!!Razer 3 now is almost obsolete….I really like Blackshark v2 Pro but geez… Your software in a night

Why can’t I add a mouse sensitivity stage?In Synapse 3, I could add as many sensitivity stages as I liked. There was a button to add another one, and it worked great.I went to add a stage to the profile I use for FPS games (as there was only 2) and all I could do was re-arrange them. That’s pretty pointless. If I add a new profile there’s 5 stages shown but, again, no option to add any.Why is this software consistently annoying me when I want to do something. There’s so many things that should be easy to do (e.g., create a macro to change active profile on multiple devices at the same time) that are just infuriatingly impossible.Synapse 4 is definitely a step backwards in terms of usability. Half the time it doesn’t event register my mouse/keyboard/Tartarus Pro unless I stop and restart all Razer apps. Even then it’s a 50/50 chance of things working properly

The Razer Synapse 4 app just bugs out when attempting to configure the Razer Pro Type Ergo Keyboard’s programmable knob (right knob). You click any of the settings and immediately the software’s interface wipes all elements on the screen but the background color which is gray. See attached. I am in a Windows 11 environment, have tried uninstalling, running the razer driver cleanup tool, reinstalling 4 times with the same issue. Also yes, the Ergo keyboard is running the latest up to date firmware.Are owners of this keyboard able to reproduce? Thanks,  

Before upgrading to Razer Synapse 4, I could hold the volume up button to increase the volume continuously. Now I have to keep pressing it repeatedly. However, when I close the Razer Synapse app, holding the button works normally again.Is there a way to keep the app open and still be able to hold the volume up button to increase the volume, without having to spam the button?

Does anyone elses keys mapped to volume not change the volume more than one step when you hold it down? This only happened recently, which im assuming is from the update and it doesnt occur when using a saved profile when synapse is closed

When I turn on my PC every time and I open razer synapse, the program doesn’t detect my Razer Blackshark V3 unless I unplug and then plug back in the USB dongle. What should I do? 

The cooling pad does not work after the firmware update. Only the red light blinks, it doesn't check the temperature, and it doesn't work at all. I deleted and reinstalled Synapse 4 and even formatted the PC. What on earth was this update for? Please take quick action.

I can't add any games to Linked Games. The games are visible in the list (under the + button), but nothing happens when I click the "ADD" button. If you have problems:BSOD randomly due to kernel level issues. Any browser web pages crashing with SYSTEM_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. Any programs (especially games) may be random crashed without a specific reason.And also:Laptop with intel cpu 13th or 14th gen. Any updates for system / firmware / drivers / programs - not solved issue. System tools dism / sfc / chkdsk and RAM memory scans - not found any problem.Then most likely next actions will help you fix these problems. TL;DR:Install Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (only Windows 10+). Go to "Advanced View", then to "Advanced Tuning". Set "Performance Core" values so that the panel on the right displays the values as in the screenshot for the underlined parameters, and click "Apply".That's all you need to fix it. Don't be afraid to change the values; the new parameter value will be highlighted, letting you know if it's the right one. They won't be applied until you click "Apply." You can also completely undo all changes by returning to "C
