Razer Synapse 4

Hello Razer team,As the title stated "Razer Chroma Visualizer not loading after Windows 11 starts". Here are the steps that I have taken in particular order.Uninstall Synapse 4 and Chroma software. Use a cleaner. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Reinstalled Synapse 4 along with Chroma. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Logged into the Razer app. Enabled Chroma Visualizer. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Chroma does not start after Windows 11 login. Uninstalled Synapse 4 and Chroma. Use a cleaner. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Installed Synapse 3 w/Chroma Sidenote/from my point of view. Synapse 3 sees Chroma as part of it's software and is able to launch decently after logging in. But Synapse 4 seems to treat Chroma as a separate software. Restarted/logged into Windows 11. Chroma works perfectly after logging into Windows 11.Only issue found, is that Synapse 3 does not seem to recognize Barracuda X Chroma is powered on.

I’ve been using Synapses since back in 2012 when it was 2 & used it all the way up to the point when it was no longer being supported & you had to use 3 or 4.one the features that 2 had was that if you had multiple programs open & you had a profile for each program, that as you clicked over to the other program, Synapse would recognise that you clicked over to a different program & automatically switch the profile over, it even displayed in green text in the lower right corner of your primary monitor the program it just switched over to. using 4, there doesn’t seem to be any such functionality or any setting to do that (or is there, i’m i’m just missing it?)It is getting old having to manually switch back & forth, every few minutes, if there is this setting, can someone please provide instructions on where this setting is… but if the function is currently not available in 4, can you dev’s please put it back?

1). I can't have mouse profiles on any of those open razer UI's, how to get there ?2) .. when you will support Linux customers as the first class citizens  ? .. or we should be paying for forever for our heresy to choose something better than Microsoft thing ?.

pls help, my installer doesnt even work, like it doesnt even install the app, everytime i click on the installer it just doesnt do anything

When I open chroma and try to customize it doesn’t work, when I select and try to click a color, it has prohibited/ no entry sign.

For a while now Razer Synapse 4 was working great and I had no issues with it but today I opened it and it started to crash over and over a few seconds after opening - at one point it looked like it was going to try to install an update but then it said installation failed and crashed. I tried restarting my laptop and also uninstalling synapse and going to the website to download the latest version of the installer and reinstalling it but this also failed. I am running on a razer blade 18 (2024) with rtx4090 and intel core i9 14900hx on windows 11 latest udate

Hi, i am unable to disable auto-updates. In the old razer snypase, there was a setting for me to disable this, however, in this new razer synapse 4, I am unable to do so. When I open the settings, there is no option for me to disable auto updates. I have attached a screenshot below  

I’ve got Asus Vivobook laptop, Windows 11 and Synapse 4 installed.Almost everything was just fine until one of the Windows updates.Sound became crackling, distorted with unstable loudness levels.I’ve tried everything, have texted to support: they just said that my earphones were faulty so I got to return them on warranty… I did it, got a new pair and..The issue is still there.Whenever I turn off “Turn on audio enhanements” in Windows settings the problem dissapears along with better sound, eq and stuff. So it’s not an option.So I tried the following:removed everything with razer tool installed synapse 3 instead of synapse 4Everything WORKS JUST FINE.Installed Synapse 4Issue came back.Also I’ve reinstalled every sound and chipset driver in System, manually clean registry and still no results.Seems like Razer Software can’t work properly with Windows up to date.!!!Please find the solution!!!Razer 3 now is almost obsolete….I really like Blackshark v2 Pro but geez… Your software in a night

Why can’t I add a mouse sensitivity stage?In Synapse 3, I could add as many sensitivity stages as I liked. There was a button to add another one, and it worked great.I went to add a stage to the profile I use for FPS games (as there was only 2) and all I could do was re-arrange them. That’s pretty pointless. If I add a new profile there’s 5 stages shown but, again, no option to add any.Why is this software consistently annoying me when I want to do something. There’s so many things that should be easy to do (e.g., create a macro to change active profile on multiple devices at the same time) that are just infuriatingly impossible.Synapse 4 is definitely a step backwards in terms of usability. Half the time it doesn’t event register my mouse/keyboard/Tartarus Pro unless I stop and restart all Razer apps. Even then it’s a 50/50 chance of things working properly

The Razer Synapse 4 app just bugs out when attempting to configure the Razer Pro Type Ergo Keyboard’s programmable knob (right knob). You click any of the settings and immediately the software’s interface wipes all elements on the screen but the background color which is gray. See attached. I am in a Windows 11 environment, have tried uninstalling, running the razer driver cleanup tool, reinstalling 4 times with the same issue. Also yes, the Ergo keyboard is running the latest up to date firmware.Are owners of this keyboard able to reproduce? Thanks,  

Before upgrading to Razer Synapse 4, I could hold the volume up button to increase the volume continuously. Now I have to keep pressing it repeatedly. However, when I close the Razer Synapse app, holding the button works normally again.Is there a way to keep the app open and still be able to hold the volume up button to increase the volume, without having to spam the button?

Does anyone elses keys mapped to volume not change the volume more than one step when you hold it down? This only happened recently, which im assuming is from the update and it doesnt occur when using a saved profile when synapse is closed

When I turn on my PC every time and I open razer synapse, the program doesn’t detect my Razer Blackshark V3 unless I unplug and then plug back in the USB dongle. What should I do? 

The cooling pad does not work after the firmware update. Only the red light blinks, it doesn't check the temperature, and it doesn't work at all. I deleted and reinstalled Synapse 4 and even formatted the PC. What on earth was this update for? Please take quick action.

I can't add any games to Linked Games. The games are visible in the list (under the + button), but nothing happens when I click the "ADD" button. If you have problems:BSOD randomly due to kernel level issues. Any browser web pages crashing with SYSTEM_ACCESS_VIOLATION error. Any programs (especially games) may be random crashed without a specific reason.And also:Laptop with intel cpu 13th or 14th gen. Any updates for system / firmware / drivers / programs - not solved issue. System tools dism / sfc / chkdsk and RAM memory scans - not found any problem.Then most likely next actions will help you fix these problems. TL;DR:Install Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (only Windows 10+). Go to "Advanced View", then to "Advanced Tuning". Set "Performance Core" values so that the panel on the right displays the values as in the screenshot for the underlined parameters, and click "Apply".That's all you need to fix it. Don't be afraid to change the values; the new parameter value will be highlighted, letting you know if it's the right one. They won't be applied until you click "Apply." So as the title says, these are what I am using. I am setting up a default profile and I realize this mouse only has 1 onboard memory. That being said I have to ask, how do I save a single profile to the onboard memory. I have 3 profiles but I m only using one, but in synapse 4 I see no icon or anything to “save to memory” like I’ve seen in synapse 3.As some back history, I am dual booting Linux and windows. While the keys default to the profile I pick which is default from the factory, all numbers to its corresponding mouse button number. When I use that profile I get 2 results.Windows everything works as it should….1 is button 1, 2 is button 2 and so onLinux I have buttons duplicating numbers, such as button 5 and button 9 on the mouse output as number 3.I realize there is no  support for Linux, I am just trying to set a profile to stay in memory s the default setup, and go to Linux and it should stay as that As a side note I have tried the linux razer apps as well as piper, all of w

Greetings, since I started using Razer Synapse 4, and unrelated to living in Türkiye, I've been experiencing issues with the macro section. Previously, I could set delays like 0.002, but after adding a period (.), it started directly printing 0. This was resolved by changing the decimal point grouping and the decimal symbol to a period (.) or comma (,) in the additional region settings in Windows' region settings. Today, when I tried to create macros again, the same problem occurred, even though it was happening yesterday. This is really frustrating me. I kindly request that the administrators allow me to create delays here like in the Synapse 3 macro system. Otherwise, I'll go crazy. I need these macros for my work, but I can't seem to figure it out. Please help!

Hi everyone,I've been experiencing multiple serious issues with my Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed running Synapse 4 on Windows 11. I've already had the headset replaced once – the problems are identical on the new unit, which confirms this is a software/firmware issue, not a hardware defect. 1. Dongle not recognized on startupWhen I turn on the headset, it is frequently not detected by Synapse or Windows. I have to physically unplug and replug the HyperSpeed dongle to get it recognized. This happens consistently and is reproducible.2. Volume extremely low until a profile is selectedEvery time I power on the headset, audio is barely audible until I manually switch to or re-select a profile in Synapse 4. Only then does the correct volume apply. This happens on every startup.3. Microphone randomly stops workingThe microphone frequently fails to pick up audio. When it does work, the sidetone ("Abhören" / mic monitoring) feature does not function at all. Toggling it in Synapse has no effect

Hi everyone,I recently contacted Razer Support regarding an issue with Razer Synapse 4 crashing a few seconds after launch (case handled by Rex from support). Hi there,posting this because the usual “clean reinstall / use the Razer cleaner / check services” advice did not fix anything.Issue:Razer Synapse 4 stopped loading correctly on Windows startup. The Razer tray/container starts, but Synapse itself does not fully launch. Opening Razer manually shows that Synapse is not running or only partially initialized.What I already tried: Full uninstall of the Razer package Razer cleaner tool Fresh reinstall Windows Fast Startup disabled Razer Elevation Service set to Automatic for testing Task Scheduler delayed startup None of that fixed the real issue.What the logs show: RazerAppEngine.exe is running. RzEngineMon.exe is running. Razer services are running. Synapse installer log shows “installation complete.” But launching only RazerAppEngine.exe starts the tray/container, not the actual Synapse module. I would like to report a reproducible issue with the Razer Tartarus Pro on Synapse 4. After a cold boot, the Tartarus Pro fails to output default keyboard binds and custom keyboard binds. The device is still detected by Synapse 4, profile switching appears to work, and macros can still work. Keyboard-output binds do not function until the Tartarus Pro is unplugged and reconnected. The issue appears to occur when the previous shutdown was initiated using Windows shutdown.exe with a timeout value greater than zero, for example: shutdown /s /t 60 Microsoft documents that when the shutdown timeout period is greater than 0, the /f parameter is implied. Microsoft also documents /f as forcing running applications to close without warning users. The issue does not appear to occur when using a full shutdown with no timeout, for example: shutdown /s /t 0Windows commands - shutdownThis suggests the issue may be related to Synapse 4 or the Tartarus Pro driver stack not handling Windows forced app

Why Synapse 3 say: ‘Hey, download Synapse 4, we will keep your profiles and macro’s and put them in Synapse 4 for you.’ Then, you open Synapse 4, and there is nothing there -.-...

Hello, after installing Razer Synapse 4 and uninstalling Synapse 3, I encountered an issue where the Chroma profile does not switch to the one set in the Linked Games tab/module when launching a game. Have someone else encountered this problem or is that just me? And do you have solution for it?Thanks!
