Just got it today and noticed that the mute button makes a noise?? Why is this a thing? The noise is very obnoxious and not only that, it mutes my PC audio for a couple seconds? How did they somehow make the mute button function worse compared to last time.. Does anyone have any fixes for this? Or if anyone has information if they’re going to push firmware related to this complaint? I’ve done some googling and saw others complaining about it as well. 

I currently have the Razer Nommo v2 (2.1) set-up.  I was looking into purchasing the Razer Leviathan V2 X to use as a center channel speaker (3.1).  Is this possible?

Hi, everybody hopes y’all doing fine.So as you read, I’d like some advice on which headset I should buy as a “deaf” person.To be more precise, I’m totally deaf in both ears (cochlear 100% dead) but I can hear thanks to an implant in my right ear. So I used several headsets (Razer included, some years ago) but no one was really adapted for me especially for fps game like csgo & tarkov etc.. So is there any headset that would fit well in my situation, if not at least which one would help a bit. The budget is not a problem if it’s justified :) Thanks very much in advance.

There is a 1–3 second delay when I change the volume in the Windows mixer, Media Player, or Spotify. Also, when I start playing music or a video, the volume is too high for 1–2 seconds. This only happens when Windows enhancements are enabled; if I turn them off, the issue goes away, but then THX Spatial stops working—and I need that for gaming. The problem also returns if I switch the audio mode to stereo within the Synapse utility itself. I’ve already tried everything possible—even reinstalling Windows and the drivers, removing Microsoft audio drivers, and toggling exclusive mode—but nothing helps. What should I do?

I did the hardware reset on the levithan v2x and it shows up a problem. Everytime when i plug in the soundbar it will flash blue light 3 times before the startup sounds and everything eles work normal beside everybuttons. And i dont know what to do now.

I’m on my second pair of this headset. Primary use is Xbox series x with some pc use. At the store both sets worked fine when I tried them. Get home, set them up on my Xbox, razer app, synapse on pc, updates, and upon initial power on, sound is super tinny, far away, and awful UNTIL I tap the EQ button then I gain full sound back. This happens EVERY power on. Razer support couldn’t help, the demos at the store didn’t experience this either. The issue is very clearly software related. The only thing Razer support wanted to worry about was pc. I bought them as they are the only Xbox compatible set Razer makes that’s wireless. For $250 this issue is unacceptable and it should load full volume on power on without me needing to do a single thing. I’ve done 4 factory resets and that doesn’t fix it either. It’s clear this headset isn’t ready for market.  otherwise the headset is comfy and sounds good. Battery life is great. But cannot recommend these whatsoever at this time. 

HelloI don’t understand why is it even possible, considering big similiarity in how these two models look etc. but I’ve updated RZ04-03980 with RZ04-039802 update. Your installer allow it wich is shocking to me. It never should be possible. It caused bluetooth connectivity problems (progressive audio delay). Now I can’t install proper firmware for RZ04-03980 because it latest version is 1.1.6.0 and what I have installed on headset is 1.3.0.0 wich doesnt even exist for my model but installer doesn’t allow me to do anything as it recognizes my firmware as higher version. Factory reset doesnt roll back update. Please help.

Is there any way to still get the optic faceplates for the V3 pro? I’m desperate for them and can’t find any real answer how to get them.

For the past two days, my Kraken V4 headset has been disconnecting all the time and experiencing audio glitches every 30 seconds – like very unpleasant robotic crackling noises...I can only use it when it’s connected via a USB cable, which isn’t what you’d expect from a “wireless” headset!!!I’m using Synapse 4, and I tried everything withpilots (updates, delete/reinstall) for THX Spatial Audio, NVIDIA High definition audio, Kraken V4 Audio... uninstalling/reinstalling Synapse 4, the headset, etc. I also tried to enabling / disabling Windows Enhancements Disabling all enhancements in WindowsWireless still bugs. My headset only works with the USB connexion.I bought it on 1 March 2026, so it’s still practically brand new, and I take great care of my computer accessories, just in case you were wondering...

I’m experiencing a persistent and very frustrating audio issue with my Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) headset on Windows 10.After a few seconds of silence, the next sound played suddenly becomes extremely loud for a brief moment (a sharp volume spike), before returning to normal. This happens consistently — for example, when watching videos, opening a tab in opera with browser-sounds activated, or receiving a system notification.Additionally, Windows system sounds completely ignore the volume mixer. Even if I mute system sounds or set them to 0%, they still play at maximum volume through the headset and then reset themself in the audimixer to 100%. These two issues combined make normal use very uncomfortable. What I’ve tried (none of these fixed the issue): Reinstalling and uninstalling Razer Synapse 4 Enabling / disabling Windows Enhancements Turning off all Spatial Sound options (I don’t want any spatial audio) Setting “Do nothing” under Communication settings in Windows Sound

What to do, cause my Razer Kraken Kitty connect to other device not audio .. In device manager it shows in Human Interface Devices. I have try connect to other laptop , it working but not at my pc . Please help how to solve this 

registered my headphones, they show up, but I didn't receive an activation code to my email and I can't do 7.1, what should I do?

Arc Raiders is the only game which whos THX game profile is not showing up, it disappeared. The game itself is still listed but the THX profile option is gone. What could be happening and is anyone else experiencing this? 

My mic that came with the razer barracuda wasn’t always working well. Now it just gave up. I need to buy one but i couldn’t find it anywhere. Pleaseee tell me how can u get ut

Sorry for the long title :DI just got the “Razer BlackShark V3” headset, and it was working fine on dongle. I didn’t test it on wire mode, but it was charging normally.However, after firmware update, the dongle stopped working (lightning doesn’t show at all), and I cannot connect the headset to it . It does register in windows settings though: I cannot do firmware update now, because I cannot pass the check for “Connect the headset to your PC using the usb type a to usb type c cable”, because it doesn’t register the headset for some reason.I cannot update either the firmware for “BlackShark V3” or “RazerAudioPairingUtility” - same thing happens.I think this is similar to this question, but additional problem is that the headset is not detected.I also tried different cable, but the result is the same.Also when I change modes with double clicking on the right button, sometimes it beeps twice. I don’t know why, but maybe that means something.One important thing to notice is that the heads

Hi everyone!I really like my Razer BlackShark V3 Pro headset but I have a few issues sadly that I can not fix. - When there is no audio playing for a few minutes, the audio then played in ‘faded-in’. This is very annoying it basically mutes shot notification and short voice chat moments. I can't find to turn this off anywhere.- The headset stops audio all together sometimes, it still shows in Windows and is playing but no sound. Reconnecting the dongle or powering the headset on and off again fixes this. - Synapse tells me to update the firmware yet I already upgraded to the version that is listed on the website from August 1st 2025. 

Is there a way to have the gengar headphones not have the microphone? I already have a stand alone microphone.

For about a couple of weeks ago, my 7.1 surround stopped working due to the app showing reconnecting at all times and not working at all.I reinstalled it too but still no use. Now if i login into the account it shows logging in and then the window closes. You can see the app and razerengine app running in the task manager and minimized in the notification area but if you right click it, it gives the option of login, again.7.1 surround sound options shows up in audio devices but if you select it no sound plays as no device is connected to it I guess.I have Blackshark V2 and it was all working fine up until just some weeks ago. Any help would be appreciated. (Win 11)

Hi everyone,my Razer Hyperspeed Pro V2 headset was working perfectly, but out of nowhere the USB dongle stopped being recognized by my PC. I’ve tried different USB ports and restarted everything, but it still doesn’t respond. Is there any official way to replace just the dongle, or do I need to go through RMA/support for a full replacement?Any advice would be appreciated.The product is out of warranty btw.

Well I've bought kraken v3 pro a few months ago and I need eq settings that are good for everyday use. Listening to music (classical and pop), chatting on discord, gaming, etc.I have tried to find something that would work out for me but my attempt was unsuccessful. I would also like some tips for mic settings on the headset. Thanks in advance.

Hallo  ich habe das Kaira Pro für Xbox ! Es verbindet sich mit der Xbox . Wenn ich dann die App starte Versucht die App sich mit dem Heatset zu verbinden es erscheind unten ein Ladebalken der Gar nicht erst startet der bleibt bei 0%  genau das selbe wenn ich es auf PC versuche ! Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich das hinbekomme das die App Arbeitet und ich das Heatset einstellen kann !? MFG

I finally got my hands on a v4 pro given that the battery in my v3 couldnt handle haptics for more than 2 min before dying. I was looking forward to listening to music again with some thumping bass but, after playing around with the settings, the haptics on the v4 are 1: not as strong and 2: dont really follow the beat of the music, its just like, constant. There were some songs that had the v3 doing the same thing but my go-to bass heavy songs are just all muddled with constant weak vibration that seems like it wants to cut out but doesnt. Anyone have any advice to get it closer to the v3 haptic feeling? 

The microphone driver was damaged. I completely reinstalled the standard Windows 11 driver (the system was also updated). I ran a full driver check. I tried to manually install the driver, but it only returned error 10. When completely removing any drivers from the device, it returned error 28. Frankly, I tried everything I could on the PC, but the driver is not available in the devices.
