Got my hands on two Robin phones for inserting different sim cards. One of them is running perfectly with 7.1.1 now, whereas the other one has been having problem upgrading to it. It shows the updates have been downloaded and verified but when I click on reboot and install, nothing happens after countdown. Anyone has experienced the same thing? Any way to possibly fix the problem? Thanks!

  2. Hi there i has the same problem you are facing right now if you want to update your Robin to 7.1.1 the best way is to follow this steps:
    1. Save your data somewhere just in case
    2. Go to Settings > About phone > Build number and tap on it 7x
    3. Go to Developer Options and enable
      1. OEM unlocking
      2. USB Debugging
Once you have done that you need to download the followings things:

drivers for your Robin, you'll find here:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7_Lpp5Iqj6wT2cwRkVBS2pOT1k/view

    Adb, fastboot, you'll find here:
    https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979

And the official Android 7.1.1 image for your Robin you'll find here:
    http://modders.nextbit.com/N108.zip
You'll need to unzip this file on your PC.

Once you have all the files:
    1. Plug your Robin into your PC
    2. Boot your Robin into Fastboot mode (Power + Volume Down)
    3. Type fastboot -i 0x2c3f oem unlock-go and press Enter and let your phone reboot fully and go back to fastboot mode
    4. Open a command window in the directory containing the image files (With the folder open, press Shift + Right click)
    5. Type flash-all.bat and press Enter
    6. Your phone will flash all the necessary files and reboot

If you want to lock your bootloader again:
    1. Plug your Robin into your PC
    2. Boot your Robin into Fastboot mode (Power + Volume Down)
    3. Type fastboot -i 0x2c3f oem lock (this Will erase all your data again)

Then just enjoy your Robin on Android 7.1.1

    Thanks a lot!

I've started trying doing this already. However, I am far from familiar with it so I got several very basic questions:

Where to "Type fastboot -i 0x2c3f oem unlock-go and press Enter" ?
How and where to "Open a command window in the directory containing the image files (With the folder open, press Shift + Right click)" ?
Where to "Type flash-all.bat and press Enter"?

Hope you can guide me more on conducting this.
    Again, thank you very much!

  4. Okay, you need to go to start and type CMD run it as administrator, on the CMD you type the fastboot comand and press Enter.

You need to navigate to the folder where you have your Android 7.1.1 image (cd.. to get out of a folder and cd "name of the folder" to enter to one)

Then on the same CMD you type flash-all.bat and hit Enter

If you can wait i can make the tuto with some image
