    Hey guys!

As the title says im curious if the core would also work with a tablet with a thunderbolt 3 port.

currently there is only the acer switch 12s and hp elite x2 and soon asus will join them with the transformer book 3(pro).

As for me a tablet or 2in1 would be far better than the rbs(just look at the battery life) and there shouldnt be much issues since they dont have internal graphics which need to be turned off.

any ideas or tests? i couldnt find any yet :slightly_sad:

The transformer 3 pro will work because it was designed to. I doubt the others will because hp crippled their spectre 13 intentionally

I think this would work, but that the specs you would have to limit this unit to in order to make it a portable tablet, would likely reduce the possibilities of increased performance from a graphics amp like the core.

@wesdalelio well the transformer 3 pro of asus has an I7 and even more ram than the rbs so it might even be better.
I understand your point that it is pretty limited because of the way its builded/nonupgradeable and the heat might be an issue, too.

But me being a rather casual gamer and hard worker(tablets are perfect for my work) it would be pretty damn perfect if it would work. else i might have to get the asus rog 2 station but i favor the core tbh.
