So I am wondering, what is your favorite FPS that you enjoyed other than it's multiplayer.
Games like Call of Duty can be mentioned do to story.

Mine has got to be, Republic Commando. Its an older game however, I enjoyed playing through it so much! It will always be dear in my heart and I pray for a squeal.

Another favorite would have to be Black Ops 2. I enjoyed the campaign so much!

My favourite would be the borderlands series, although multiplayer makes even more fun the single player is still enjoyable

I mean it's not purely FPS, more like a shooter/rpg hybrid, but definitely:

    Deus Ex

I love everything about this series. The cyberpunk renaissance environment. The conspiracy theories. The darker, deeper h+ themes that force the player to think consciously about the morals & ethics of his or her choices in a dystopian techy future. And no multiplayer anywhere to be found! It's way more than just blasting baddies with big guns, but I guess the mature flavor isn't for everyone.

Have been with it since the first game and can't wait for Mankind Divided. If I had to rank the games from best to worst, it would go:

    Deus Ex
    Deux Ex: Human Revolution
    Deus Ex: Invisible War

I really like the new moody artistic direction this franchise has taken in recent years. The art and music really immerse me into the world. I'm sure most people here have seen this already, but here's the announcement trailer for their newest game:

You should definitely check out the pre sequel afterwards, it's not a huge improvement of the gameplay but adds a lot to the story

I am intrigued thus far, the diverse enemies and the gun porn makes the game a blast.
