  1. That you can use the volume keys without holding down the function key?

I did that to mine, since I don't really use the F keys I just flipped the control. So to use say F1 now it's Funtion+F1, F2 or whatever and just clicking them works the volume/mute/pause/etc. controls.

I imagine it would be quite simple with synapse. Just set your desired key to a macro.

  5. I got it,works great,I'm really liking this keyboard..

Awesome, yeah it was one of the things I liked about the corsair...having the dedicated media keys so I'm glad I was able to do it on the BW.

  7. Its one of the things that I didn't like about the Chroma. All the things I didn't like razer fixed. Very glad I got it today.. :)

i just looked into those macro keys and found out about setting them up to buy me stuff in csgo instantly, totally off topic but thanks for that idea :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  9. Yeah you can. Easiest way is if you have any of the macro keys on the Blackwidow, just assign volume buttons to those. I did that for a while and it was pretty useful. Although it bugged me I had to be in synapse all the time for it to work.

Holy crap that's genius. I am going to do that now, yeah. That's an incredibly smart idea.
