Many years ago in a galaxy far far away. . . I was about 12 years old. My wrist was having a ton of issues because of the repetitive motions of me using my mouse when I was gaming, mostly playing World of Warcraft. My family looked into trying to get something to help me, and we almost bought a track-ball mouse so that it would be easier movements where I wasn't moving my wrist as much.
Then we learned about "Razer," this super cool and awesome company that made the coolest gaming equipment, and the DPI was so high on their products that i'd barely have to move my hand at all, it was a perfect solution! I got the Razer Naga, the original one. It was a huge help with all the buttons on the side and the high DPI made it so I barely had to move my hand at all. It ended up helping me a ton and in all honesty I always thought the 3 snakes logo was really cool, especially with how amazing it looked in the dark with the awesome lights on the mouse.

I then ended up buying more Razer products by saving up all my money that I had at the time. When I opened the packaging I read "Welcome to the cult of Razer." I smiled in excitement and was happy because I felt like I was part of something special, and that it was more than merely buying a new set of headphones. Ever since then, i've been hooked on Razer. I am 20 years old and I still wear my Razer hoodie that i've been wearing since I was 16 (I definitely want to buy a new one as soon as i can, it's been a while lol) but the point is my whole life I've really loved Razer and I'm happy to be one of the many awesome people in this community =)

Sorry for such a long story! To be honest I forgot this was an entry to a contest, lol. To everyone who is entering, I wish you THE BEST OF LUCK! If anyone has actually read this far i'm honored that you took the time to read my story

    Best wishes to all!

p.s. I look forward to seeing your Razer stories as well =)

    GOOD LUCK!!!

My favorite razer memory was when I ordered the razer firefly... It finally came in and I looked at the box that is was shipped in and I thought to myself "why would they use such a big box on such a small product." I opened the box to see the razer box which was the same size. I had not realized that the mousepad was so big, I had to build an extension on my desk to fit it. :D

Okay, I'll bite. Unfortunately, my most memorable Razer moment had nothing to do with any particular peripheral or big gaming event...

First, a little background. So as my wife, @kajira, may have mentioned all over this forum (I'm sure you all know her), she and I met over a game. It is our hobby, and a lot of the things we do for fun involve gaming and generally geeking out over hardware and peripherals.

So several years ago we're looking at mice and keyboards over at the local Best Buy and we encounter these fine looking, sleek designed products in jet black and a cool looking neon green logo. Since she had wanted a new peripheral anyway (can't remember which one, might have been a mouse), we purchased one of them. This would start a trend that ends with us ditching our cheap, no-name-brand peripherals and replacing them little by little with Razer products as time passed and our household income increased. We eventually fall in love with the products and in time they would wind up not only in our personal gaming rigs, but those of our children as well.

Fast forward to around 2015 and @kajira informs me of this forum called the "Razer Insider". It apparently just got put together and she was enjoying the heck out of herself speaking with other fans of the products and meeting all these new gamer people. I was amused by her enthusiasm, and it was adorable listening to her constantly sharing all the whacky and crazy little things going on in the forums as the community was growing and going through its "wild west" phase. There were just so many changes going on, and she was enjoying being a part of it.

Then out of the blue, she proudly announced that she became a moderator. While in the back of my head I was concerned about her spending so much time in a volunteer position, I couldn't help but be happy for her. I mean, she was BEAMING for goodness sakes! I just rolled with it and eventually joined the forum myself.

So there you go, Razer. That's my most memorable Razer moment. That time you all made my sweetie a Mod. Grats on 500k fans.

First Razer product was a Nostromo. Got it for playing Mechwarrior Online. Still have it and use it occasionally. Unfortunately, I don't play on pc as much these days. Maybe with a new laptop that could change :wink_:

4 years ago, i fell in love with Razer after seeing the Blackwidow and Kraken on our local store. Sadly young me that time was still a student and had barely any money to survive college everyday let alone buy a Kraken or Blackwidow. I told myself "i'll strive hard to get a job as soon as i graduate".

4 years passed, i landed on a company with a secured future for my career. The first thing Razer product i bought last year was the Kraken 7.1 v2 and i proudly wear it whether on LAN parties or at the office. The feeling of actually owning one after years of drooling through a shop's glass is overwhelming.

Right now im saving up for the Blade but it'll still take me some time. At least there's progress right? :)

And a big big thank you to the mods @kajira, @Lafar, @Destrok, and @Firebat246 for without them, the Insider would not exist :)

When I went and bought my first wireless headset, the phenomenal, Man O' War Wireless edition. Best headset I've bought to date.

The day that I put my hands on a Razer Blackwidow and a Razer Diamondback. It changed my expectation of gaming hardware completely. Also the day I got the razer hammerhead pro v2. Razer all the way. I have a broken laptop as well so i would really love razer blade stealth( it is actually my favorite laptop at the moment)
  11. I remember unboxing my very first Blackwidow, I was so hyped for its new switches and all the new things, one of my fondest memorys. It was also my first product. Congrats Guys on 500k

My girlfriend ended up awing me by buying me my 7.1's, in a total surprise! She knew how much I needed new headphones, and decided to go Razer straight away! It meant the world that she knew what I wanted.

First thing I got by Razer would be the Razer Krakens. By far my favorite headphones I had ever tried up to that point. To this day, I still love Razer because of how that experience affected me.

The first time I found out Razer existed, I was so shocked at how sophisticated everything was. However, I'm still saving to saving up for The New Razer Blade to be my first Razer product, it's taking a while but I will get there eventually.
  16. The Razer Naga 2014 is now the only mouse I use. I feel lost without it :)

Been a Macbook user for almost 10 years. I started to game last year and realized I needed a gaming laptop since I travel and move a lot as an international student. Found out about Razer Blade and bought it. Then I bought Overwatch headset and a mouse. Loving it.

The first Razer mouse I ever got was the Deathadder, it has the best ergonomics with the correct weight for me. Best memory was when I had the best tracking in games such as BO3.
