My Razer Blade shipped today (ordered 3/25) and it's my first Blade. I am worried about having to carry a microfiber cloth everywhere... Especially since I get static electric shocks all the time, so I hate microfiber.

You could get a skin. DBrand makes some for the Blade's. Other than that I have no clue. I took my Stealth to Ghost Armor HQ and had them custom laser it.

    Hi LeDouche, welcome to Insider!
(Sorry, I couldn't resist. I hate that anime character with a passion haha!)

The first and foremost option is to carry a lens grade microfiber + cleaning solution with you (it shouldn't shock you), but it seems you are opposed to that. Like the poster above mentioned, you can apply a skin to the laptop that is less susceptible to fingerprints and smudges.

However, if you want to keep the Blade's finish exposed (because it's so sexy), there are a few other options you could consider. One would be to wear gloves or handle your Blade only with freshly cleaned hands. The other would be to invest in a metal polish that is designed to repel fingerprints.

    Hope that helps!

considering that the blade will be a popular device you can either get a neoprene sleeve and some gloves or possibly a matte case to put on the top of the device to decrease the chance of smudges and fingerprints. As the posters have said before, the best scenario is probably getting a skin (that's what I'll be doing too)

I don't mean to sound rude guys, but in my opinion wearing gloves while handling a laptop just sounds a tad silly. I think the best option is to get a case that will reduce the amount of fingerprint and smudges. Congrats on your Razer blade!

I think it won't get long for skin release. just wait 1 month and buy your most attractive one.
