Hi! I wonder if someone can help me make a macro that disables and re-enables CAPS lock. Getting really irritated accidentally hitting the CAPS when typing. I am a rookie on macros and need some help.

Just load up synapse and go to the keyboard > customize screen
    click on the capslock key
a popup should appear just go to 'disable' on the first dropdown menu and hit save

That won't help him at all. All that will do is permanently disable Caps Lock. Then he'll have to go back into Synapse to turn it back on.

Come to think of it, that's what hitting Caps Lock does on its own, @techCornsilkbox108. It enables and disables Caps Lock.

If you're using a Razer keyboard, the best thing for you is kind of what @JuneBudsharpwire251 said, but I would take it a step further. Have a profile that has CapsLock disabled, and another profile that has CapsLock as it is normally. Use the Fn+(number) feature to quickly switch between the two profiles.

Create a new profile, choose your standard lighting that you prefer, click your caps lock key, select the "none" dropdown, and save. Whenever you want to re-enable it go into synapse and choose your alternate profile. Other than that, I am unaware of any way to simply toggle it on and off aside from 3rd party software.

... or use the Fn+(nunber) capability to switch between profiles on your Razer keyboard ...

oops my bad was 3am here when i replied :D

I advised disabling it because a macro to turn it off wont stop accidental pressing. Not like you can't do caps with the shift key which 99% of folks do instead

not just that you can set macros on any key to switch profiles, i set m1 to change my keyboard to a profile with no lighting called off and the off profile i sent m1 to turn on my normal profile... simple on off switch :D
