I'm trying to create a macro that'll bind the Win+F4 key combination to one of my mouse buttons (Razer Deathadder 2013) but I can't get the macro to register the F4 key. Here's what it looks like after recording the macro:

I think the up-arrow next to the F4 button entry means it only registered the key release, not key press. Any ideas how to make it register both key presses? FYI, Win+F4 mutes the microphone in Skype for Business.

I'm writing this in Mac OS Sierra at the moment, so I don't have a Win key in front of me that I can use, but I can get into Windows 10 in a bit and give it a try:

There should be an option to Edit your macro in Synapse. You can insert keypresses (and releases, as they go together), and then move that newly inserted keypress to where you need it in your macro chain. I'm not sure if it works with certain types of combinations, like ones that use Win, but give it a try.

Just go to your macro that you're trying to get working. Click on the F4 release, and click on the "Insert" button below the macro window. Choose "Keypress before" from the dropdown menu. Hit record, and then hit your F4 button, then stop recording. (If you still have F4 held down before you stop recording, it should only register the keypress. If it registers a press and a release, just delete the original release). I'd add a super-short delay between the presses and releases, though, just to be sure that your OS is going to see it as a true press and release of those buttons.

Give that a shot. Let us know if it works!
