    * I posted this in the Audio section a week ago but haven't gotten any responses, so trying here as well. Apologies if this kind of cross-posting is a no-no!

Question for folks (have done a few searches and come up empty - apologies if this has been asked and answered already):

When I'm using my Man O'War and I change the volume using the slider under the right cup, a small window appears showing me the change (either increased or decreased). However, when I change the microphone's input volume under the left cup I do not get a similar window indicating a change. It has been this way for some time - unfortunately I cannot remember how long.

I've gone through just about every settings/preferences option I can find in Synapse and Windows (as well as general internet searches) but I cannot seem to find a reason why the mic volume window has stopped appearing, nor a way to force the window to appear. I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this problem, and if so, if there's a fix for it. I suspect (hope?) it's something really simple I'm overlooking.

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!

Just to verify, which Windows 10 version is your machine currently running? Try to check if there's an update in your OS and reinstall Synapse. Let us know.

Using Windows 10, home edition (x64). Updated on 10-27 and no new updates since.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse but no luck.

For further info/clarification, the microphone volume control slider under the left cup physically works - i.e. the mic input volume changes when I scroll forward and/or backward, and the microphone will go mute if I press the slider. I just can't tell visually what level the input volume is unless I have Synapse open. Kind of a pain when gaming and I've accidentally turned my mic volume down w/o realizing it (b/c the volume window doesn't appear) and then try to talk but can't be heard.

As per checking, this feature has been removed to adhere to Microsoft requirements. The Razer Synapse 2.0 update complies with a requirement set by Microsoft that doesn’t allow for certain software functions that require in-game overlays to be present. This includes the OSD option for the ManO'War Wireless headset. Feel free to drop us a message should you have more question.
