I bought some Chinese-made o-rings (basically OEM stuff) and they work really great on my Blackwidow TE-C. I have to say tho that Razer is really selling their own o-rings at an expensive price... I guess the custom neon green color really costs a lot?

I actually just the razer kit and installed it. the green o rings dont cut down the back light at all and the key puller truly makes a huge difference removing the keys and the brush makes cleaning the keyboard so easy as the bristles are about the same size as the gaps between keys. the kit is a bit expensive but the o rings help and the reusable stuff helps offset the cost.

well, with razers kit i think u dont really pay for the o-rings, but more for the keycap puller and the lil cleaning brush thingie thats included with it

if u just want o-rings, just buy some of ebay, most of the time u'll be totally fine

I got the keyboard enhancement kit, it reduced the sound a bit, but I kind of regret it since it doesn't feel as clicky now... It's like I turned my keyboard into a membrane mechanical hybrid...

Has anyone tried the green o-rings on the chroma keyboards? Does it interfere with the colors at all?

    Cool, thanks. Ordering now.
  12. Do o rings make a noticeable difference in key travel? I am thinking of getting some but I am worried about the key travel being too short

@KakashiSharingan summed that up pretty well. Short answer is yes, it does.

If you don't want the key travel to be affected too much then make sure you get o-rings that are 1.5 mm thick. The 40A 1,5 mm thick o-rings dampen the noise while reducing key travel by only 0.2 mm.
