  1. I have a wild idea- Since razer has computers and even watches available in the market, why not try to create a razer phone that allows gamers to use that serves better compatibility with their razer computer? I am not sure whether this is feasible but what do you guys think?

Prob an expensive investment to get into the phone market...

I agree that getting into the phone market would be a massive undertaking, unless Razer wanted to just slap their name on an Android phone and maybe make some custom version of the OS to make everything look all Razer-y... but I don't think Razer would do something like that, they are obsessed with providing a quality experience to it's fan, and for them to release a phone, it'd have to be designed from scratch to meet my expectations of a Razer product

if they really releasing phones. not much of people will buy execpt Razer fans. heavy investment but little profit. so i think when Razer is as famous as IOS or Android then the possibility to make Razer phone is high
  5. true... perhaps i have neglected the costs issue

I dont think razer is a big enough brand to the general public (non gamers) to be successful in the mobile industry. Maybe they can partner up with current mobile market leaders for a limited edition co op release.

Well Razer isn't that big as apple so it's too hard to get in this business. Limited Edition would be nice :D

I think the best thing they can do is collaborate with an existing phone company and make a Limited edition Razer phone.

No, I rather think that they should focus on razer gadgets, such as covers, just the one available for iphone 6/ 6 plus

Razer most likely would avoid the market of Mobile Phones as it's saturated and to be honest, Samsung is dominating the Android platform (even if it's that good or not) due to the popularity of the brand.

Selling the "Razer Phone" targeting gamers and fans is small portion of the population of mobile phone users. As an end user (who's not familiar to Razer), jumping to a new and unknown brand would make think twice.

The only way I can see Razer making a phone is by collaborating with other companies, just like the Designed by Razer campaign. Nvidia would be their best bet here. Seeing the success of the Shield K1 tablet (performance wise), I won't be surprised if Nvidia makes a mobile phone - and that would be the best time for Razer to jump in.

  15. If they would, i would think that they should do their logo on the back top. just like apple :)

Not a big phone guy...partially because no phone really speaks to me design-wise. I know if Razer designed a phone, I'd love it...but like others have said here, it probably isn't going to happen. They could throw in neat components and make a superphone, but then again, you can play the vast majority of mobile games without high specs anyway.

Although not probable, this isn't as impossible as you guy's imagine. If Razer took a route similar to One Plus, developing a limited number of phones, it wouldn't be a very costly venture for Razer. If they followed the invite only model, maybe only selling to insiders, they would also never have to worry about overstock since the phones would be made to order. By doing a limited release, there wouldn't be a huge upside in profit for the phone itself, but it would please the fans and give Razer another product for the media to buzz about and spread the brand. By getting the Razer name out there even more, it could be beneficial for them to make a phone.
