    Hello everyone,
I am looking to buy a Blade here in a few months, just wondering if anyone else here ordered from Canada and where did you order from? I would get bombarded by custom duties via the Razerzone route, so I do not plan to do that, and no where local sells blades.
    Thanks ;)

I know your pain.. a few years ago, several places would be selling Blades in Canada.. London Drugs, Best Buy, NCIX, etc... but now? Nope...

Have you checked out your local Microsoft store? You can try there, or through their website.

I actually purchased a 2014 Razer Blade from Staples (now out of stock) and avoided any customs. Lately, I haven't been charged customs for many of my Razer orders as before, since they switched to Kerry Logistics in HK.

Bestbuy or no where have them except for some old third party retailer on bestbuy that is selling an older model Blade 14 for a way to high price, Microsoft store has a Blade stealth but there is no store close to me, and the only one on there site is the gunmetal 13 inch one in 128 gb and 256 gb models and thats the cheapest I can find around, I am just hoping they are sold out of black ones or something and they will be back soon.

  4. You could try driving across the border unless you live way up north.
But you might need to declare for tax on the way back.... ouch....

Actually im quite surprised NCIX does not carry it.

I'm in Newfoundland, A bit too far away. Also, NCIX is gone now. I wouldn't buy from them anyways since they did have issues in the last few months before going for bankruptcy.
  6. They used to be my go to for computer parts/peripherals.... that was well, ten over years ago anyway. I felt they were more specialized and better priced than the bigger chains like Best Buy... or even Future Shop. But of course i'm in the West; probably much different market than the East.

Though there might be an opportunity to fill in the void left by NCIX; probably with a much different emphasis on the online vs retail business.
