I'm experiencing some serious issues with Razer Cortex Gamecaster, and unfortunately I haven't seen anyone else mention the specific set of issues I'm having. Hopefully I can get some guidance here. I've owned a Razer Ripsaw for a year now, and I primarily use it for recording and streaming gameplay from consoles. However, at some point*, Gamecaster has become unusable. It doesn't respond to keyboard shortcuts at all (I cannot record video or capture screenshots via Gamecaster), and has trouble displaying video at a stable framerate. * The last time I used Gamecaster without issue was late-October 2017 - when the Nintendo Switch received the ability to capture video with its 4.0.0 system update. There was a period of time after that where I was simply too busy to record/stream, so it's difficult to pin down exactly when this issue would have started. Curiously, I have no such issues with Ripsaw while using OBS. I've recorded a comparison video (above) to demonstrate the issue. Gamecaster footage was captured using Nvidia Shadowplay, as I had no other way of recording, but framerate issues are exactly the same during normal use. System details: Windows 10 Pro (Version 1709, Build 16299.371, 64-bit) Intel i5-6600K CPU 32GB of RAM NVidia GTX970 Latest system and graphics drivers are installed, and I'm running Razer Cortex 22.214.171.1243.
