Ok guys I need some help here. It looks like top end headsets like the Steel Series all use a system where you have this box with all these wires running to your system for sound and chat, etc. I was looking at the back of the Steel Series Siberia 800 control box and it looks like I'd have to get up and swap optical audio cables every time I switched from PC to PS4, etc.

With the Man O'War it at least appears as if it's all driven through the little usb dongle. So you essentially just pull the dongle out of the PS4 usb port and put it in a PC usb port if you want to switch. Am I right about this?

Well I decided to order one. However, my indecision cost me two weeks. It's now on backorder and will ship on the 29th. :slightly_sad:

Of course this was going to come out when I recently acquired the Kraken Chroma 7.1's.
    Happens every time, lol

The only two things I don't like about this is the amount of buttons, and the bulkiness of the headset, other than that, i like this :D

I don't know if i prefer the kraken 7.1 or the Man o' war D:

Is there a separate volume control for each ear cup or are they both the same

I was out of town and checked a non-local Best Buy (Southern Maryland) while I was out - No dice. They weren't out, and they also asked the employee who knew the most about gaming (I've seen a couple BB's now have at least one relatively avid gamer; it's really nice to see BB supporting that - not like it's bad for BB, either). He had heard of them, but hadn't seen them, and they aren't on bestbuy.com yet.

I'll check another BB this week, but... has anyone actually gotten them at BB yet confirmed?

So just got my hands on one from best buy. Apparently they are selling the Turret as well!?! They had 2 of each in stock. Just got through a game testing out the headset. It is soo much more comfortable than my kraken 7.1 chroma, the dongle is awesome and mic is very nice. Worth every dollar spent.

can i use them while charging ? ... i mean ... is that Usb conector only for charging or can i use it while gaming and charging at the same time

The included charger is only 2 feet long, so you should probally find a longer one, but I dont see any reason why it wouldnt work while charging.

I can confirm it's out in the wild. Bought one of them along with the Razer Turret that I found while looking at Best Buy (I live in Utah, I found out by a reddit post on r/razer that the guy found it in Cali). My guess is places were slowly getting shipments in throughout the weekend/beginning of this week. So your results may vary and if you want either check your stores daily.

Looks awesome, but two questions. Where is the battery located? Also, does it have micro-USB so that if it dies while gaming you can just plug it in and keep going?

As far as I could tell from using it over the weekend the battery is not removable. It is internal and meant to not be removed.

There is a micro USB port IIRC on the Left side between the Power Button and Chat Volume Wheel. I was able to use it tethered to my USB hub while it was charging.
