I got mine working again with china unicom card. I powered off and put in my german tmobile card. Power on, no signal. Restart no signal. Selected apn, went to flight mode 30 seconds. Flight mode off, tmobile card was working with roaming on china unicom network. Then i put my china unicom card inside without power off. Phone said invalid card. Restart, china unicom card was working again. Now i am just afraid to restart my phone or power off. Screenshot_20180428-103333.png

After an experiment with individual Chinese users, your method is effective. However, the requirements for success are very harsh. It must be a foreign SIM card. The SIM card from China Mobile has not been successful. Hope that Razer can completely solve this problem as soon as possible.

I wonder how you guys in China updated your system without the help of VPN.

You should contact Razer support instead of just posting in the forum. We all know that after-sales service and forums are two things.

I have contacted support. If you do read my messages iveIbeen telling you guys what support has been telling me as well. And FYI it's a common email that all of us received today about the upgrade it would look like. Did they also ask for your IMEI number? And a confirmation for the OTA?

That happened around 5 and a half hours ago for me. I replied about 3 hours ago. I have no idea if this update will even work. But it's my last show before I go in for the replacement.

The update they pushed seems to have sorted the issue out. Haven't restarted and checked. Will do that and confirm now
