well the coffee house most certainly needs to be revived then. You should all be thinking of topics we can discuss so we can have a stream of new posts of actual substance every few days. I have a couple ideas in mind, and I have even thought about organizing an event for insiders to play games together and I can stream it. The next couple weeks are going to be hell for me (I started taking classes again so finals + I work retail :slightly_sad: and so this time of year is evil) but once I get through all that I have a list of easy to learn and mostly free games we could play together.

I do like Ferrari how ever I dont feel that Ferrari is the definitive race car i prefer Porsche is a better choice.
THAT SUCKS. I know how you feel and I would be up for some gaming with randomish people i met on the internet.

I'd totally be down for that. Timing the event may raise some issues though... (Because time zones)

I am in an eastern time zone and am free most weekends feel free to add me pm me here, steam or comms if there is going to be an event. I would also be willing to help organize.

Razer has a global community, and so you are correct timing can be difficult. I used to help run a gaming community with people in NA, australia, a few in europe and even one in indonesia, so timing can be rough. Basically what I figured out is I have to just go with what is best for my region and build a foundation there and then once I attract enough people I can delegate and have them host events in other timezones and during my downtime. I used to do like every wednesdays night from 7 to 10. Or I could try a weekend setup, but like I said, I have to survive the next couple weeks first :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yeah but with enough planning we can work it out. I don't have to be the only one doing it either, I just wanted to start something up.

I apologize for just lurking about lately. I love to run these communities IRL, an actual Razer meetup would be awesome - where are you guys centered?

an irl meetup would be awesome I would love to go to something like that depending on location. it would be cool also if we could check out some of the less affordable Razer stuff like the blade and osvr which are a bit out of my price range. It would also be fun to meet people who are also into gaming and Razer.

But happy Thanksgiving/black friday to all of you celebrating it I may not be back online until saturday.

Indianapolis, we do have an excellent convention center and a large base of gamers. A meetup would be really cool, but I wasn't quite planning on that scale yet XD

I'd love to do something for my area (New Jersey), but I haven't had much free time lately, and that probably won't change for a while (I get back from school @ 5-ish and then then there is HW..)

I might be able to manage something on weekends though. Anyone near me interested?

Huh. Completely random and off topic thing that I noticed. When I was writing a quote, I saw this: "post: 174838, member: 1811**" Insider now has more members than posts. Just goes to show how many people are here for rewards/inactive.

I felt an unusual disturbance in the force of something new being planned. I am back, the Master is here, was a bit too busy with classes, new country and got hooked in to Star Wars Commander. A meetup would be great but I am relocating again in Jan and this time to Dubai. Due to our geographical location it wont be easy. The idea of a game on the other hand is great and something that can be executed.

The pictures are cool the place is really hot :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
We will need to adjust the timing to suit majority of the people willing to take part so we wil require a poll of some sort to get an idea at what time most people are comfortable.

    I whipped up a form...

    Respond with your LOCAL TIME.
I'll convert your time(s) into UTC and publish the results. (Pleaaase get the offset right...)
This way all confusion will be avoided.

    Here's the form

    Here are some more resources:

I am UTC -5. It is difficult for me to fill out the form right now, as my schedule tends to vary. What I used to do was basically just tell my boss I can't work wednesday nights, and so that would be the time I would host events for my community, so I could do something like that again. Typically I don't work tuesdays and thursdays due to classes, but that could change next semester. I am fine with hosting this, I have a list of games I think would be really fun to play with a community, but if we can getting multiple time zones going would be cool too.
