Hi Razer Insiders! I wrote a post about this a while ago and thought it would be fun to see what other people think and have to add. This thread is for posting products that seem evidently inspired by Razer products, or vice versa. Products posted here should not claim to be Razer products but it should be obvious where their inspiration came from. This is not intended to be an offensive hate thread about who copied who, but rather one to foster discussion about how companies in the gaming industry influence each other through their designs, so please keep it clean. No claims of truth are to be made here, just opinions and observations. The idea is create something light and fun that would be nice to browse while having morning coffee, nothing too heavy. I just want to point out that this thread isn't about counterfeit Razer products. For that, go here. For more fun, check this thread out. Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Without further ado, let'er rip! I believe that Mionix is a company that has taken some inspiration from Razer. I've read/heard that they make good quality gaming peripherals but haven't tried their products out myself. [Can you tell which are Razer mice and which aren't?] Spoiler: Answer The mouse in the second row to the right is a Mionix Naos 8200 [Striking similarities between the Taipan and Avior 8200] E-3LUE or E-Blue - I keep running into their products online and believe that some of them are the most shameless ripoffs I've ever seen. Here are some of their 'MAZER' products [Goliathus] [DeathAdder and Ouroboros] [BlackWidow and CM Storm Quickfire TK keyboard font are eerily similar. When I first saw the Quickfire TK I thought I was looking at a BlackWidow. Can you tell which is which?] [Naga inspired Logitech G600] [Razer Logo font vs. Against the Current's In Our Bones album art font] And now, vice versa: [Thermaltake Level 10 possibly inspired Project Christine] [Which then in turn probably inspired this custom Thermaltake Level 10] [Cherry MX switches possibly inspired Razer switches] [Apple MacBook Pro possibly inspired the Razer Blade Pro]
The thing is, I actually had a Tazer mouse for about 3 years, thinking it was all that, as I had heard people talking about their Razer mice, and I misheard them so I thought it was a Tazer mouse XD. Its was actually a good mouse, just gave it to a friend when I got my legit mamba.
huh? nah nah nah m8, Steve jobs wore a black shirt and jeans first, then Min started using it. Pretty sure Min copied Steve. *Overused meme*
I know in Russia, there is that gaming brand called "Raver" They just copy Razer products and put them into very similar boxes. Their logo is a 4-headed snake tbh Ugh... Blade PRO with red keyboard backlighting? Am I crazy?
LOL uhhh what is a Tazer mouse? A self-defense weapon? Hahah but Min-Liang Tan hates being compared to Steve Jobs. And just to set things straight, Min wears black V-Necks and Steve Jobs wore black Turtlenecks. Get it right! Wow so we have Mazer, Tazer, Raver. At least Raver fits the flashy lighting lol. I guess Tazer kind of works too...hah. It sounds like Raver makes some crazy knockoffs - can you post some photos? Especially of that 4-headed snake logo lol.

Come on guys, we can all agree that the only reason why snakes look like snakes is because they copied the razer logo
Rumor has it that the Tazer Insider Forum has also introduced the rewards system and is giving away the Traken Mobility Red as is pictured below:
I remember a photo from a while back posted by the CEO showing that someone had stolen Razer's THS logo and used it for their book cover artwork Here is some more 'inspired' work: [DeathAdder] [Diamondback]
