Looks like Nvidia is giving away The Division beta keys right now. And the beta takes place this weekend.
After playing over 6 hours of the beta. I'm really excited for the game. As far as graphics go, it looks pretty amazing.
The graphics and trailers for this game is awesome but with games nowadays, definitely wanna read a few reviews before buying haha.
Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait ! I will get it as soon as it gets available !
Rumor has it there will be one more open beta before launch. So let's hope those rumors are true
Time for buying a new graphic card XD
can anyone tell me about their experiences with the beta?
I sorta liked it but sorta not...
I'm very afraid this game will end up like evolve or watchdogs so I will be waiting until some time after release to get it...
I never really seen anything that would make people think this game is going to be alot of dlc or extra paid content. it seems like there was going to be alot of grinding and looting. If your talking about them turning down the graphics like they did in watch dogs. I dont think that will happen but that is just my 2 cents
I tried the beta last week, changed the settings and the game crashed .. So i don't know if the game is good or not, even though it's only a beta !
I heard about graphics limitation on PC. It's totally unfair imo, you won't have my money Ubisoft !
The announcement said that they'd downgrade it for consoles. Locking it at 30 fps.
The PC still has a lot more graphics effects that neither of the consoles have. I think the developer's quote was taken completely out of context about PC being "held back because it's unfair."
I think what was really meant was there are no extra gameplay mechanics (e.g. larger map, larger amount of missions, items, or inventory space or something) that would not be a limitation on PC but is a limitation on consoles, that would upset the balance of delivering a complete product on three platforms.
Naturally, on a platform that has a much higher limit of upgradeability (more RAM, better graphics card, etc.) you could add considerably more to the game, and not just graphics, with less compromise. But this would literally make such a division (ha...) between the PC and console titles that they would be effectively different games. This is not just bad for business, but it's more work to QA test two separate games, to ship two different games, and to get each version rated differently.
Lot of work that goes into this stuff you guys. It's not just as simple as "we toned it down because consoles couldn't handle it." A lot more common in the game industry is trying to get a feature (especially graphics) to work really really well at a low resource cost and realizing it's just too taxing or it causes problems elsewhere and has to be scrapped.
Can you link the article that says this? Cause I didn't see them holding it back in any way. I mean I only got over 10 hours into the beta, however It visual kicked the crap out of every game I've every played at 2k. I mean the amount of visual option they give us is crazy. More than I've had on any other ubisoft title. I'm pretty sure the were talking gameplay wise. They only gave us maybe 5% of the single player /coop, and probably about the same for the dark zone. Hopefully you try it out if/when they have an open beta and see they were just filling you full of bullshit.
didnt get a chance to check out the beta but been waiting fr this game
