The lighting definitely works in wireless mode.

Tried searching around but couldn't find an answer. Has anyone successfully gotten the new orochi to connect to a linux distribution. I am on Ubuntu 15.10. Connects to my windows partition no problem, just linux it will connect but the movement is not registering. Also it is not showing up as a mouse in the Bluetooth options for ubuntu.

I think this mouse is perfect for any on the go type of person. The battery life is actually at the point where I would now need to carry all the wires with me when I need to get some work done. I do prefer mice like the mamba te for home and heavy gaming but for all my on the go needs ( productivity and light gaming) I could not have thought of a better solution.

    Thanks for the update,

What? o_O I AM using it as a wired mouse, I was just saying it would be very weird if the LEDs were useless in wireless mode, especially since its a Travel Mouse
