Just wanted to post a teaser of quite possibly the rarest Razer peripheral...

That's the Razer Switchblade UI Dev Kit, I'm testing it out with Windows 10 and trying to see if I can "Chroma" it by spoofing a few things. I'll post my results if and when they are successful!

    Everyone asking the same question!

This was made available to a select few developers waaay back in 2011-2012 in preparation for the release of the initial Razer Blade (what is now known as the Razer Blade Pro).

The idea, of course, was to jumpstart the creation of apps for the Switchblade UI. The actual unit is AWESOME, works perfectly as a touchpad and all buttons work perfectly. It's way cool :)

Now, as to how I got my hands on it... lots and lots of patience!

Not really - a touchpad will never be great for gaming. I'm visualizing using it as a second screen, for Photoshop/ FL Studio etc.

Considering this is about 5 years old... that will never happen.

This is awesome! I didn't even know this existed. Its too bad the usability for the one on the computer is lacking in some areas. I hope they bring it back this year with the much needed updates.

But isn't the switchblade ui concept a little death? I mean the last app update was about 3 years ago, I believe?

That is certainly a rare item I've not heard/seen before. Awesome. I had alot rares. But the rarest Razer peripheral I own is this one which is from 17 years ago. The Razer Boomslang First Edition with 1000DPI. Only 5000 manufactured and is the very first mouse Razer released. Still in mint unused condition. This ain't the same as the 2007 collectors edition. I also have the Mystify Boomslang.
