No. They are saying you have to pay the shipping costs to them- but they will graciously pay the shipping back to you.

It should be "we ... cover the cost to ship the unit back to YOU" or "we ... cover the cost to ship the unit back FROM us", shouldn't it?

Yes, I'd assume he either meant "to you" or "from us" but made a typo.

i just want more USB ports i don't really care about the VGA/DVI. More USB ports and being able to charge it while using the HUB

Razer is kinda lacking in their customer service and supplying products when they say they will but from what I know their computers make up for it.

Why does Razer send recovery USB sticks by mail? Is it possible to download the image for RBS?

Just wanted to drop a note that I received my Stealth in the mail this Friday. My house went all OSX around Win7 timeframe and haven't looked back. I have to say though, this is a fantastic little laptop and has me excited about using a Windows machine again. The build quality is just so high. (Now I'm just looking forward to Overwatch which I hope to be running via the Core when it's back in stock)

My bad... The buy now option takes me to the notify me page...
I went to the Razer store grand opening at SFO and the store associate mentioned that the Core will be available to buy this week.. But am sure it is subject to change..

  12. I heard that the cpu in the razer stealth may be removable/upgraded, does anyone know if this is true?
I really want to get one but the 5 hour battery life might be a problem.

Also the "New Razer Blade", as it also has the Thonderbolt/USB 3.1 type C jack.
Maybe also other pc's with that jack

Even if so, such CPUs are not sold to general public.

Razer will only service the laptop with the original parts installed/software, but there is a reason it was made to be upgraded.

  17. I forgot where exactly but I saw while browsing through another forum.
But thanks for clearing this up for me.

Yeah, the only removable part, besides battery, is the ssd

I think you can swap out the wi-fi module too.. though I haven't tried.
