Gotta say I'm extremely disappointed that this didn't make an appearance yesterday. ASUS ROG Phone may have been late to the "Gaming Phone" market, but their first offering hit it out the park with their peripherals. I thought for sure Razer was gonna have Project Linda and a few other accessories ready to go by launch, but this is just sad.

Lack of project Linda is for me a deal breaker. I was waiting for it and I even was ready to accept all Razer phone 2 disadvantages. Now I stick with my current phone and wait for other phone releases. I agree that Asus rog phone now is much better offer.

So basically a futuristic product never promised to release, not releasing exactly when you wanted it to, makes an existing, totally separate product trash? Can't tell if you are joking or not.

Oh but you are totally wrong. It has been promised. It has been done. There were few of them done and showed few times.
    MKBHD SAID ON TWITTER:
Amount I really want Razer Project Linda to become a real product: 10/10 Amount I actually believe that will happen anytime soon: 3/10
Then Min-Liang Tan replied to him:
Well, I could do something about that I think
And all the hype started. Android authority, the verge and gsmarena. All were writing about Project Linda release with Razer phone 2. For me and for a lot of people Min-Liang Tan's words were the promise.
Now Razer phone 2 except chroma led back and great speakers has nothing more than any other phone released this year. If you compare it to Asus Rog Phone it is not that great. Project Linda brought me here since I am looking for this kind of solution.

Keep in mind that the various projects that Razer develops are prototypes and really cool ideas, however, they're not confirmed to ever be officially created and produced. They are test ideas, and oftentimes need money, backing or coordination with other companies to make them fully functional. So, some of the projects rely on other companies agreeing to work with Razer (think project Christine) and sometimes those people just flat out refuse. Another reason may be if the project ends up costing far more to produce than they could justify charging the consumers, so those ideas may not make it into production either.

Savor the fresh ideas and keep your fingers crossed that someday they will come to fruition, but don't ever make the mistake of assuming that just because a prototype was made that we'll be guaranteed to see the product sold sometime in the future. :)

    Beautiful words but...
If public person, one of the most known techtubbers(MKBHD) says on twitter that he would like to see project Linda live and then Min-Liang Tan who is also a public person related closely with Razer company says that he can do something about it, then it is an obligation to me and also a dirt promotion just like 4tb phone from Lenovo(Lenovo Z5).
I know how hard it to make any presence in mobile world nowadays but It was much easier to launch Project Linda with some high price than to pretend that this case never existed. I was ready to spent around 1000 euro on RP2+Linda and I think that there could be more people like me on the market.

I am quitting Razer phone camp since there are phones on the market which have for me more to offer. The only thing that I was interested in was project Linda but I see that for Razer it is TABU subject since I did not see information on this subject and there is a lot of people who was waiting for it like me.

One of the plusses about the prototypes and awesome ideas is that they INSPIRE! They could even inspire somebody on this forum, who really wanted Project Linda to be made into a purchasable reality, to go ahead and make their own version of it.

and I hope for that, I already mention other company which has some android desktop experience and have build this system nicely working that they should copy Razer's idea.
I work in a international company and we are planing to buy around 20 000 phones this year for our employees. We are also testing android as a main desktop system(chromebook, Samsung dexOS or Huawei desktop system)
Project Linda was for me very promising in terms of "daily working on android" solution.
You can do a lot of productivity task using google suit and you do not have to spent money on Microsoft licences.

I really wanted to click "Like" on this one, but unfortunately I'm out of likes for the day and it's only 5am. LOL

On that note, I agree completely. The things that Razer inspires in others is almost as valuable as the items they create themselves. Their ingenuity and fresh look at gaming and peripherals is definitely something that should get people thinking about possibilities and where the future could lead.

I read that one in another thread, but thank you to everyone to participating in this thread. So if I understand correctly you are waiting for someone could do it and I hope that someone of this community could be make it real and has razer support. But do not doubt that I end up making one for myself. That prototype inspired me. So if anyone has a razer stealth not working to take measures also see the keyboard. Have a nice day.

It’s bigger than palm rest area. I need actually only software that could mirroring Razer Phone through usb c into laptops monitor but unfortunately stealth screen is only video out not in so they should make costum screen that can take video in like some other Kickstarter or indigogo projects. I was hoping having Razer Phone will take some advantage if I’ve Razer Systems, but they seem not at that level yet.

Really hope Razer takes this beyond the concept stage. The joystick peripheral is just not enough if these guys want to compete with the ROG Phone. Which is odd since Razer was the first in this “gaming phone” market and is now looking to play “catch up”.

Yes, the hardware may have more “bells and whistles” than the ROG Phone but the options with the overall “experience” when it comes to gaming seems very lackluster in comparison. PL and the joystick would be a great start but Razer has to figure out more options as well. Maybe a dock like Samsung DeX as well.

So it will be a razer blade more or less? Not that thin like stealth, I mean the body for the dock. Actually there are apps to mirror your smartphone into your laptop or computer.
